The reception "staff" (only one woman who seemed to do everything) spoke no English. She was friendly, but could be of no help. The hotel is located just outside the city. A free bus passes the hotel, but service ends at 7PM. It's walkable, but it takes about a half hour and the return is uphill. The best alternative is to drive and park in the public lot just outside the walls. Without a car you are better off staying in the center of town.

The hotel is amazing, surrounded by a big park with a view to the Narni's castle; the building and the rooms are completely renewed; it is a little far from the city centre by foot; there is a swimming pool for the summer days and car parking; breakfast is very good and plentiful; staff is very kind.

Il Minareto is practically impossible to find from the directions given, however once found the hotel is comfortable and full of character. During our stay the restaurant was completely closed for the season; breakfast was meagre but acceptable with notably good coffee. In summary, a hotel that would be good chioce for a summer stay not a winter vacation.

A real gem. The hotel and gardens made us feel like we were staying in a palace. Although not all the staff spoke English, they never-the-less did everything possible to make our stay amazing. Some facilities were not available (pool and pizzeria) as it was just out of summer season. Really wished we could have stayed longer.
