This hotel is set in park like grounds on top of a hill miles from Naples. Unfortunately we ended up lost driving all over Naples trying to find it (the worst driving experience of our lives - made Rome and Paris seem laidback and easy!). I hadn't realised there are two ports in Naples and this hotel is definitely not near the city port it's near Pozzuoli. The hotel itself is fine and we had a nice breakfast etc. The room we stayed in was off in a different block with motel type units but was very comfortable and quiet. The hotel is set out like a resort over quite a large area of land. There are playgrounds and a large swimming pool for kids. We arrived quite late after driving all around but they have a 24 hour desk. If you wish to stay here arm yourself with a map of Naples and surroundings long before you get off the motorway. The hotel is not far from the Tangenziale A56.

Nice rooms, but a little bit old-style. Gardens are beautiful, but not so treated. Staff was very kind and always available.

This is a lovely hotel, an oasis in a big city. The hotel is situated on a hilltop. The entire hill belongs to the hotel. It is located on the outskirts of Napoli, but still close with good access to cheap(!) public transportation. We didn't locate any restaurants within walking distance so our only choice for dinner was the hotel restaurant. We dined outside under an awning looking at the sky and greenery -- a lovely experience and the food was good. The swimming pool is very large, clean, and in its own setting of red tile surrounded by trees with many lounge chairs and umbrellas and a few guests. A park surrounds and belongs to the hotel. I would definitely return to this hotel.

We chose this hotel as an alternative to staying in the centre of Naples and in order that the children could take a rest from travelling and enjoy the outside space and the pool. In that respect it worked well although without a car, the journey to the hotel was a bit arduous (and a bit expensive since a taxi from the railway station cost 15 Euro). With not other obvious eateries in the area, we also felt a little confined to only using the hotel' restaurant facilities. Having said that the food at the hotel was excellent and the breakfast (which was included in the room price) was the best we encountered on the trip.

Excellent Hotel with a fantastic park and a big car parking (very difficult to find in Naples). Room very nice, calm and clean. The staff has been very helpful from the moment we arrived till the time we departed and the restaurant food was SUPERRRR!! I would highly recommend this Hotel and we will at sometime in the future make a return visit to it.

Finding a quiet little oasis like the Montespina in the chaos of Naples is a treat. The setting on top of a small hill above the traffic is beautiful and the hotel itself is well-managed and comfortable. The prices were quiet reasonable, parking was ample and safe (no small thing for Naples!), and the staff was friendly and helpful.

I realize that it is "off-season" but certain parts of the property are in disrepair. In example the door to my room (203) appeared as though someone had attempted to kick it in (the door jam was very loose). The gym wasn't available due to construction. And the outside appearance (spackle) could use touching up. All of those items were more than easily overlooked by the professionalism and kindness of the staff. They were excellant!

Exellent sejour, belle piscine, l'hotel est un peu trop exentré pour profiter pleinement de Naples, mais on ne peut pas tout avoir. Seules les chambres qui donnent sur le park et la piscine (extérieures à la batisse principale de l' hotel proprement dit) méritent les commentaires élogieux faits ci-dessus.
