Hotel Nuovo Rebecchino - Naples

The hotel was convenient and good value and we would stay there again

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room is nicely decorated and resonably spacious, the bathroom is also spacious except the drainage in the shower does not work very well. TV is hanged high up in the wall -- not very easy to change the channels. The location is nothing to write home about but the hotel seems to be very secured and safe once you are inside. It is also within walking distance to the train and bus station. There are restaurants and supermarket close by.

This was the hotel that cost the least of the four hotels I stayed at during my Italy honeymoon trip, but it was the second best. People were very friendly and helpful. The room was fairly small, but everything we needed was there. In some other hotels we had problems sleeping either because of too much noise or because the bed was bad, but not here. The location is excellent, just a few hundred meters away from the train station. Some reviewers have said that the surrounding area is rough, but for being Naples, I thought it was fine.

What they say about Naples is all true; noisy, chaotic, a bit dangerous, dirty-ish, unforgettable. It's can all be experienced right outside the hotel door. This is a good hotel convenient to the train station. You'll get a full dose of Naples, for better or worse, right here.

The hotel is nice.The staff very friendly.Small tip for travellers about lacation of the hotel:when you go out from the railway staition,cross over to the right side of the square and you will find the hotel over 150-200 meters in one of intersected street.

This is a really nice property with good service, good price and nice employees.

Ottima la posizione, vicina alla stazione ed ai mezzi pubblici. Stanze pulite ma con leggera puzza di fumo. Modesta la stanza per la colazione.

The hotel lobby is shabby, and the location is horrible. The area surrounding the train station is disgustingly dirty and dangerous. The traffic is wild, and it's difficult to cross the street without being endangered by motos who don't follow any traffic regulations at all. I would NEVER stay in that area or that hotel again.

The direction allow smoking in the eating areas(breakfast.....). in paying,i was asked innocently much more than the price for what i booked the room! this are not things for an important city like napoli! all the other was fine.

Since it is close to the Central Station,it is convenient for sightseeing. Since it was a room by the side of opposite of the main road,it was quiet. I think that a room of he main road side has an annoying sound of the cars. The room was calm and clean. Breakfast is good. It can be hard to control that air-conditioning can not turn on and turn off in the room.(The temperature adjustment can be controled in the room.

Coffee for breakfast of bad quality ! Who needs to stay only one night and stay close to the sation may be satiesfied.

Hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and spoke English fairly well. Rooms were clean and bathrooms modern and everything worked. Air conditioning only comes on in mid afternoon and goes off about 4AM. Room would get a little warm but I was able to open the balcony doors for cool air as the room faced the courtyard (parking area) and was not noisy. The hotel is conveniently close to the train station and Metro, and lots of shops/restaurants close by. It's not as nice an area as the Castel Uova waterfront area, but I didn't feel unsafe either. Parking is in an attended garage around the corner for €13.00 per night. Phone hook-ups worked for modem dial-outs from my computer. Two ATMs within 100 meters. Overall it is a great value for the money.
