Very warm welcoming with competent staff. Nice bartender and breakfast server. Good room and a bar at the hotel with internet connection. The place felt safe despite being very near the central station. We can recommend it warmly. No problem at all. Breakfast consisted of coffee and croissant and bread, butter, jam etc like ordinary italian budget hotel breakfasts. Nothing to complain about.

Is my first time at Naples and it is a nice city. The food is very good and tasty. The hotel is near to the Station Train, you can go by walking. The plaza Garibaldi, in front of the Hotel, was in reform to the new Station Metro. Although the noise external, the room is very quite.

Very friendly (ca. 50 yr old) landlord, who owns also a restaurant near the market hall. He self does not speak much English, but his son (25-30yr), who is the contact person and hands over the key and guides to the flat (btw: the process worked well; when we arrived, we called his mobile, met on the boat station Rialto and went together to the flat). The flat is very clean, in good condition and well equipped (marble floors, Murano candelabra(!), air condition in both sleeping rooms, shutters on all windows). Big bathroom with bathtub and bidet, kitchen with table, 4 chairs and tv-set. There is everything you could need including a washing machine, and all the stuff one needs to wash and cook (incl. salt, pepper, some noodles etc.). When we arrived the fridge was already filled with water, orange juice, rolls, butter, milk and more for the breakfast. The flat is centrally located; one walks 5 minutes to the Markus place and 5 minutes to Rialto bridge. Lying in a very narrow side street (but close to a "main street" and a super market) the flat is very quiet. We loved the flat and had a very relaxing stay. We recommend it to all persons who are looking for an affordable and centrally located place to stay in Venice. And please: keep it in good condition. ;o)

There is mosquito in the room every night. I need to go and find them before go to bed. Anyway, the hotel is really easy to access, just next to train and bus station, and have lots of restaurants around. Good location.

Cheap price for 3 star hotel 5 mins walk to the train station (remember to take the left at the train station) Private bathroom,free breakfast, free air-conditioned, TV, towels,nice staff! What can we ask for more for the very cheap price or hotel Ideal!!! One more thing thanks for all the nice/helpful Napoli peoples I thinks is unfair to Napoli when people heard that Napoli is not safe so do we heard that before we visit Napoli -_- but when we arrived people at Napoli are really nice and helpful when they see us lost and holding the map they try to help us even they don't speak english, We were thought that they maybe try to get close to us and steal someting but is NOT, They're trying to help us, We just stay one day but there is 8 to 9 local people trying to help us!!! This will never happen at any other cities in Italy except AnaCapri. So thanks again for the nice and helpful people in Napoli God bless you all. PS. There is a very nice oldman at the Circumvesuviana information he is the most nice information staff overall at our europe trips !!!

For the price I was expecting a small average room. I was surprised. We had a big room with a bathroom and the room was really nice. A bar was located on our floor and reasonable prices. Right next to the metro so you don't have to go looking through the city to find your hotel. Really good staff.

Hotel very handy for rail and bus links. A bit of traffic and roadworks noise but nothing too intrusive. Handy pizzeria next door plus a couple of food stores nearby.

We found this to be a very reasonably priced hotel,good value for price paid.It is literally a stone's throw from Naples station.Not a very nice area,but we encountered no problems.Our room was spacious,clean and quiet,even though it overlooked the bus stop below.Our friend's room was not as large and my daughters one was tiny.The staff were really friendly and helpful,especially the Sri Lankan barman.Breakfast is adequate:cereals,rolls,jams,brioche,juice,tea and coffee.

I would NOT stay here again, and I usually stay in budget hotels/hostels. There was a huge ant problem in the toilet. They did change our room and the new room was ok. The breakfast was the worst I had in 2 months in Italy. It appeared the table cloth on the buffet had never been changed. Dirty.

Non posso in realtà fare commenti su QUESTO hotel poichè, a causa della loro politica di overbooking, la mattina del mio arrivo la camera da me prenotata era occupata e sono stata dirottata al (più che dignitoso) Hotel Garden - e per fortuna sono arrivata presto, visto che il primo hotel a cui hanno telefonato per 'sistemarmi' già non aveva più camere libere!! Leggendo precedenti commenti vedo che questa pratica è un'abitudine - imho pessima - e il mio voto è quindi inteso a penalizzare questo fastidiosissimo modo di fare. I am not able to make statements over THIS hotel because, due to their prectise of overbooking, the room i booked was not free the morning i did arrive - and i must be grateful to have been there so soon in the morning, because the first hotel they phoned to 'accomodate' me had not more rooms available already!! Reading other rewievs i can see this praticse - imho a dreadful one - is customary, so my ranking has to be intended as a penalization of this bad habitude.

Good hotel for the price. 39 euros including breakfast for double with bathroom. No elevator so stairs, like lots of Italian hotels. We were up two flights and breakfast was in basement so lots of climbing. No problem for us but pack light if it is. Location was close to train station on Garibaldi Square. Big tip- TURN LEFT when leaving train station, we went round the entire square looking for it. It was nice to have a bar in the evening with internet access there. Breakfast was ordinary, cereal, pastry etc but the coffee was good. No maps available at front desk, would have been nice. Restaurants in neighbour were decent and Naples is a lot cheaper than Rome for hotels and restaurants.

Bad services, broken shower, rude on receprion. Left our belongings on reception but they did not give us back. Asked them to post it to us and they refused even on advance payment. Taxi to airport on fix rate by hotel but taxi driver asked 40% more my be hotel people have commission on it. Overall worst hotel and people...

Have been in this hotel for 4 days, and really enjoyed the stay. The historical center is in 30min to go on foot. In 5min can reach the metropolitan station and from there pompei and ercalano in 20min. The one thing didn't enjoyed - the surrondings.Personnel is honest and do well speak english. Overraly - price/quality is quite excellent. P.s - don't believe taxists! Always check the prices.

It stayed at this hotel for 5days. As for this hotel, it was very clean, and correspondence was also wonderful. It will be easy to use it the price is very low, and above all near the station at the center. I think that the cost performance is very good.

Excellent hotel for stopover in Naples - easy to get to from airport, very helpful staff, comfortable rooms, good breakfast, and near to the Circumvesuviana for onward travel, after an easy walk to the shops etc down Corso Umberto. Just what we were looking for. And very good value for three rooms when compared with Sorrento etc.

Front desk staff spoke English. I had a single room which was very clean and nicely decorated. The shower was great, best one I had in Italy. The room (32) had a balcony that overlooked the street in front. This is NOT a plus! There is major construction, traffic and a bus stop a few feet away. If you closed your eyes, it felt like the bed was in the middle of the street. The noise lasted until at least midnight and started up again before 5am. Very close to the train station for a quick escape from Naples!

Absolut günstiges Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Einwenig abgewohnte Zimmer aber die € 30,-/Person allemal wert! Die Unterkunft ist in einer eher schlechten Gegend aber dafür absolut ideal für Ausflüge gelegen und perfekt vom Flughafen aus erreichbar. Alle Bahn- und Buslinien sind perfekt erreichbar. Nette Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption wiegen vieles auf!

First stay was with a tour in Hotel Ideal and the second was to be near transport to leave Naples. It is in a convenient location across from the station which makes it a bit noisy but the hotel itself is nice and clean and the staff are helpful.Good for a short stay in Naples so you can catch the train or bus from nearby.

This is a great location if you were continuing your journey but need to stop over in Naples as the train is right next to the Centrale station, 15mins bus journey from the airport. We stayed one night then headed to Sorrento.

Excellent location literally 5 minutes' walk from the station. Despite the central location our room looked out onto a quiet side street. The staff weren't especially professional and seemed a bit disorganised, but they were friendly and helpful. There is no lift but the staff helped us with one of our two suitcases. The room was clean and very big, with nice old furniture with a bit of character. But the bathroom was small and a bit run-down looking. Overall a decent hotel for the price.

Nel complesso abbiamo avuto una buona impressione dell'hotel. Lo staff è molto professionale e disponibile, la location è perfetta per spostarsi a piedi e ben servita dai mezzi. Inutile dire che Napoli è una città meravigliosa e che i suoi abitanti sono molto amichevoli e gentili!

A good place to stay overnight to go on to Pompei next day. Breakfast room filled up quickly in morning. Helpful staff. Still a noisy room even though the windows were described as triple glazed.

There is NO Internet in the rooms and no obvious location of where it was provided. They had prepaid dial-up internet cards, horrible. We were on the first floor next to the bar and it was noisy until 3 AM and we'd be wakened at 7 AM the next day from breakfast. The service staff were rude and confrontational, demanding without reason for our room key (my first experience with this tradition). I would NOT stay here again, it made the Naples the worst part of our trip throughout Italy.

The hotel is nice. The square in front of it "Piazza Garibaldi" is a bit crowded - with people and traffic. All in all nevertheless a good place to stay - close to the old town, close to the harbor (ferries). The breakfast is a bit poor - but that's Italy. In winter: there is a heating that you can turn on but it makes noise.

The hotel is rather good. The room is very spacious, clean and very pretty. The only problem for us was that all the night in the battery of central heating the water was dropping that made not very pleasant noise. But may be it was only in our room...The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The hotel is very easy to find, just at the left side from the railway station. Undortunately the breakfast was far from being good, very poor. And the city I did not like at all! Terrible underground, all is dirty. I did not find nothing beautiful! Nightmare!
