Grand Hotel Oriente - Naples

Actually very small and noisy room in rather bad shape - nothing to do with pictures.

The hotel rooms are in the process of being renovated and ours looked very nice though it still smelled of fresh paint and some bathroom amenities (towel racks and shower shelves) were missing. While the immediate neighborhood of the Oriente is not very appealing, the hotel is well located and a good price for the overall quality, including a generous breakfast.

When the Toledo subway statio is over, the hotel will be more valued to move in trhe city

It was an excellent oasis of calm in one of the less intimidating areas of this chaotic but vibrant city. A perfect location just off the main shopping street with easy access to excellent restaurants and within walking distance of all the main sights, we would pop in mid afternoon to regroup in between exploring the city.

very helpful staff: we arrived at 10am and our rooms were ready; i asked for late check out till 1400 and it was no problem. Good breakfast, nice rooms. May be bathrooms may need a refresh.

A nice hotel, friendly staff. Good surroundings, that mean quiet area. I can recommend this hotel to all kind og traveller.

I had work to complete on the internet. During my stay at this hotel there was no internet service available except behind the main desk because of some problem. Internet service is essential for business these days and I was not pleased at all. The management did let me use the main computer for an hour when I threatened to go to another hotel. I was not pleased at all. The other services at the hotel were as described. The room was quiet as was the hotel. The area aound the hotel is dirty but seemingly safe.

Molto bene! Very good, beautiful hotel with a real feeling of luxury to it! Staff were very accommodating and accepted my broken / pidgin Italian graciously! Rooms were of a good size and spotlessly clean. I was travelling with friends but had a double room to myself which was more than adequate. Construction works immediately outside the hotel were not at all intrusive, and when they are complete, you will have a station on the main underground line in Naples right on your doorstep! Hotel is in a fantastic location for the upmarket shopping areas of Via Toledo and the bizarre bazaars of Via Tribunale! Thoroughly recommended!

Right hotel to walk in the city center

The young woman at the desk was very knowledgeable about services and tourist related information. We appreciated her fluent English.
