We stayed one night to be near the airport. The meal was okay. Because of the city area surrounding the hotel we didn't feel comfortable leaving the hotel at night to find somewhere else to eat. It's a great place for just overnight.

We were very impressed by the customer service we received at this hotel. The room was incredible, beds so comfortable. Clean, quiet, grounds are pretty and scenic. Our only negative comment would be the food. We had dinner in the dining room one night and it was awful....and Way overpriced. I would not recommmend anyone eating there and unfortunately there is no where else to eat unless you take a cab into the city.

This is an excellent hotel, quiet, clean and with a very competent and cheerful staff. The location is also very good for visits to the Capodimonte and Nazionale museums, or as a base for car touring in the Campi Flegrei, Herculanum and Pompeii. It's a little far from the port and nearby tourist areas, but the hotel staff will help you find the best way of getting there. The hotel is a located in a working class area; as far as we could tell in four days, this was quite safe. We had two meals in the hotel restaurant, one good and one excellent; otherwise there's a good pizzeria about 10 min away on foot.

This is a great hotel. The staff had excellent English and were obliging and polite without fault.Didn't have breakfast at 10 Euros each, just dropped into the bar opposite the park. Dinner was good quality and the waiter was great. We had a ground floor room, not much of a view, next two floors would have had good views I suspect. There was some noise from the room above, nothing too obtrusive. They have a secure carpark (or garaging). "Roads" in and out are a little harrowing to drive (1/2 the parked cars seem to have missing wing mirrors), but the hotel is quite easy to find off the ring road, once you've memorised Google map photos. Turning left at the main lights is a major battle on the way out again though, but where isn't in Naples. Only minor gripe was lack of printer at their public computer and they only have one.Everybody seems to have laptops anyway. It would have been nice to have free net access ..10 Euros for 3 hours, 5 for 1 hour, but nowhere's perfect.

The secret to enjoying your visit to Naples is to stay at this hotel. This hotel is well away from the bustle of downtown Naples. It is quiet, clean and surrounded by a very nice garden. We ended up just taking taxis between the hotel and the tourists sites in Naples. A taxi from the hotel to downtown was between 8 and 15 euros. We would take a cab in the morning to the waterfront for 12 euros, and when we'd get tired, we'd have dinner and take a cab back for another 12 euros, which added about another 24 euros each day, but it was well worth it. You can also come back earlier and have dinner at the hotel or at a nearby pizzaria, which were both excellent too. A taxi to and from the train station was about 12 to 18 euros. Be sure you get a cab with the Commune Napoli sticker under the side windows as they are registered cabs and are supposed to be less likely to rip you off. We would ask for the approximate price up front, which gives you a heads up if they are charging too much. The staff at this hotel was the best I have ever seen. They made reservation calls to the catacombs for us, made calls to various museums to double check their opening hours, called cabs for us, made recommendations on what to see, etc. One day my wife became sick, the staff obtained an excellent doctor and found a 24-hour pharmacy/chemist for us, and she was soon feeling better again. Thanks so much Giuseppe and Mario! The hotel seems to have good conference facilities too. The hotel is really hard to find though. I do not recommend trying to walk there. All of the taxi drivers were familiar with the hotel though. Also read the pamphlet, available in the lobby, on how to protect yourself in Naples. Knowing what to expect in Naples, and staying at this hotel, will make your vacation or business trip to Naples much more enjoyable.

The hotel is excellent but you basically need a taxi to go downtown and this is incredibly expensive (especially if you consider the 'loyalty' of the Naples taxi drivers)..

We felt welcome at this Hotel. The rooms are better than we had expected. The services provided were polite and very good. We had Dinner and breakfast, both were very reasonable and excellent. We did not have any other comparison with othe hotels or had any meals elsewhere in Naples. In general the place is unique, services good and we recommend it to those who loves a driving holiday.

I have used this hotel many times and come back because it is in a peacful garden at the top of the hill overlooking the city. It is nice to escape the chaos and noise of Naples. I also feel very safe here. The staff is exceptionally friendly, helpful and competent. I am a light sleeper so no hotel is quiet enough for me, but this hotel comes close. Once I heard voices in a neighboring room at 2:30 a.m. but that was an exception. It is basically a business person's hotel, so it has a calm atmosphere. The setting is lovely and charming and it is nice to have a cocktail in the garden. The breakfast is good and in a beautiful room. I don't use a car in Italy, but the hotel would be convenient for people with cars. It is not centrally located, which in Naples can be a plus. The garden and landscaping of the hotel are a relief after a day in the city. And it is very close to the Capodimonte museum. The neighborhood around the hotel is not exceptional, but it is safe and there is a little pizzeria there for those who want to eat out, though the food at the hotel is very, very good and the prices are reasonable. I have stayed here by myself and with my husband and two teenaged daughters, and we have always been well-treated and comfortable.

This hotel was a nice surprise! It did exceed our expectations! I strongly recommend it to anybody who wants to experience the “true Naples”. From the hotel you can go down the steps that lead to the heart of Naples while viewing the popular, typical quarters - only 10 min (going down). Also, the hotel is 5 minutes from the gorgeous, immense Capodimonte park, where the king Carlo di Borbone had its royal palace, residence and shooting ground. For the lovers of art, the Capodimonte museo lying inside the park will be a delight! The hotel front desk staff was warm and ready to help. The only downturn is, you need a car. You better get one right from the airport and avoid those real crooks taxi drivers! We were charged 25 Eur from the airport instead of the 10 the information desk had told us we should pay. Also, if you walk in any restaurant, ask for a menu if you don’t want to be surprised with tourist surcharges! A big thumb up for this hotel!

We found this property to be exceptional in many ways. Although we only stayed for one night, we were upgraded to an Executive Suite at no additional cost. The reception area wasn't the best if you were looking for a few drinks in the evening, but the dinner was excellent. The surroundings are very pleseant; they even had lemon trees ripe for the picking!

We didn't really explore Naples as we arrived late and were leaving the next day to head down to Sorrento. However, we did go to the nearby Palazzo di Capodimonte museum which is in a park that you can walk to from the hotel in less than 15 mins. That was a well worth a visit, although the art collection is extensive so I'd recommend selecting a few things you want to see and heading for those. Even if you're not really into art the building itself is worth looking around and it is a probably a light relief from the hustle and bustle of downtown Napoli!

I was first time in Napoli and for 2 days only, but I think this hotel is a very good choice. Before coming to Napoli I was warned about the "garbage" situation as well as about security in some areas. We are a family with 2 small children and we did not have any issues about these during the 2 days we spent there. Apart from the place where we exited the highway we did not really see more trash than usual in a big city of this part of the world - compared to Rome downtown for example the biggest difference was the lack of crowd that I don't like in Rome - so the situation for tourists is not that dramatic as shown in the media. The hotel's welcome was a free upgrade to a bigger room and 3-day tickets for public transport. Parking is free, we parked our car behind the wall/fence of the hotel. We tried the autobus to get to the city - some walk to get to the stop and - probably that time of the day - quite a long waiting for the bus, it takes you to Archeological Museum/Piazza Dante (metro at both places), about 5 stops. About Napoli: it is very nice, people were very kind and helpful everywhere - remember half of the bus discussing in Italian where we should get off, to help us :), always giving directions. After my daughter lost our free daily tickets :)) and we did not have change for the ticket-machine (1.1 EUR/80 minutes), the "Funicolare" ("metro-cable car" to the mountain) personnel let us in with 1 ticket only (the kids do not pay anyway in metro etc.) We called taxi to get back to the hotel twice - by accident the same young driver came both time who was very friendly - although as noticed second time, he had a button on the taximeter that changed the counting price from 12,5 to a 15,7 "fixed price" at the end, not sure if thats normal - and did not have change to return from a 20 both times :) so paid 20 instead of 13. But as you see, it should be about 13-15 EUR to get to/back the (even other side of) downtown from the hotel by taxi.

It was an excellent choice for the area. The rooms were newly redecorated and remodeled. The bed was very comfortable, the pillows were great, the tv was excellent, the toilet was modern, and the only drawback was not enough air conditioning to suit us. It was comfortable compared to the other hotels we stayed at on our trip. The staff was very gracious and helpful at all times. When we went to check out we were asked for 300e instead of the 150e. I had my printout of my confirmation and they adjusted the price accordingly.

Finding the place would have been impossible without a taxi with a cell phone. But it just made it more cozy and private. There were only two things that I would rate poorly. One was the fact that the property unfortunately is under the flight path of jets. This however, stops at 10pm or so. So not too bad. The other is that they advertise that their resturant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. In fact, it was closed for lunch. But they had the greatest solution. A pizzeria sent a car for us and we had a wonderful meal. So, overall, I would definitely recommend it to my friends, and I would stay there again. The property is very scenic and the gardens beautiful.

Terrible nocturnal reception of, the extremely coarse one, does not have the minimum education, difficult to understand as they leave a person of that level in the reception of a hotel. The localization then, obtains to be so bad, how much the recepcionista. It is in the way of a slum quarter. The only good memories, that it brought of the hotel, were of the boy who, took the luggages for the room, that being the opposite of the man of the reception, in treated them very well. the coffee of the morning, that also was good. I will come back e, never I do not recommend this hotel

We appreciate very much the situation of the hotel, the quality of welcoming, and the quietness;we have only one remark:the hotel is situated very near of the "quartiere" Sanita which is dangereous and it is better to go to the hotel by car rather than by foot, my wife has been agressed by young boys and thrown on the ground, trying to catch her bag. One remark; go to the hotel by car exclusively, it is more careful. I regret this point because everybody in the hotel was very kind and careful for us. Naples is a wonderful city full of marvellous old churches,Capodimonte & Archeological museum are gorgeous and we can thanks the Bourbons to have transfered the Farnese's treasures in Naples. Sincerely Yours Dr Jean Pierre Cappoen

This hotel is simply the best place to stay if you want to be able to escape the madness of Naples at the end of each day! Don't be put off by the fact that the rooms are something out of the 1950s - they are clean and this hotel probably had the best shower water pressure of our entire stay in Italy. It also had the widest selection at breakfast by a country mile (and the guy at breakfast is very friendly). Location-wise the map is totally wrong. If you come of the Tangenziale, turn right at the bottom of the ramp and go down the hill. At the bottom of the hill you can swing back around a fountain and head back up the hill. Stay on the right hand side and turn right at the T intersection at the top of the hill. As you drive up the hill you will come to an arch/building through which the road runs. Do not go through it! Turn right and drive straight on. You will see the signs. Don't be surprised when the road narrows to nothing. Stick with it because the hotel is right at the end after about 3 or 4 bends. Once you are there you can park the car (behind security fencing and it is free!!) and walk down to town. There is an alley way that looks pretty scary - but we walked down the steps at all hours and everyone was very friendly in returning our "buona sera"s. Just watch out for the vespas when it turns into a road. For 70 Euro this place was a real bargain. The peace and quiet in the Eucalypt garden after mad naples is fantastic. (although we didn't have a room with a view and if you are paying 150 euro for it it woul be too rich). Use of the internet is 5 euros but there are also plenty in town. If you need a restaurant, try Ciro's which is at the bottom of the walk down to town where the street meets Via Fora. Turn left and it is about 100 yards along on the left. Once again, if you can find the place - it is a great place to stay if you come to Naples by car and the breakfast is great. Thanks guys.

The Hotel was very nice and the staff were helpful and friendly The only problem we encountered was its location which because of the weather and run down nature of Naples ment we felt we had to take a Taxi everytime we went out (this may have been a blessing in disguise) To be honest the hotel was nice and we would recommend it should you have to go to Naples, the real problem is Naples itself. In hindsight we would have booked a hotel on the coast and traveled to the sights from there. Just to finish the price we got the room for made it very good value indeed
