Hotel La Pérouse - Nantes

We were very impressed with the staff and service at La Perouse. We stayed for 4 nights -2 at the beginning of a 3 week bike trip to the Loire and 2 at the end. There was no problem storing our bike boxes and extra luggage for 3 weeks. Breakfasts were ample. Location ideal for seeing sights in Nantes and lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. We would definitely stay there again.

Great location. Very friendly and helpful staff. If you reserve a parking space you get a special rate.

This is a very quirky hotl, and for that reason alone would be worth a stay, however it is also a clean, modern, very comfortable, air conditioned hotel at a very reasonable price and right in the middle of the historic district of Nantes. The only two negatives are #1 the access by car is not good as there is nowhere to stop the car to unload and it is a little trickly to find the public car park about 200m away. #2 the breakfast which has been raved about in other reviews was very disappointing especially at the E13.50 per head.

Female on reception very welcoming and helpful. Excellent staff member. Would reccomend this hotel to others.

Hôtel au coeur de Nantes avec parking à 200m, accueil attentionné, architecture belle et originale, effort mis en oeuvre par l'hôtel pour réduire son impact sur l'environnement (tri et réduction des déchets, etc.)... Hôtel que je recommande donc!

I stayed in Nantes and at La Perouse for nine nights and was very happy with my entire stay.

Lack of air conditioning or circulating air is a big problem for this hotel. I opened the window to let in some fresh air but the noise from the street kept me awake virtually all night (n.b. I am not normally a light sleeper). I hate to think what it must be like in summer time. This is a shame for the hotel because it tries very hard and has good staff.

A nicely situated hotel - opposite a tram stop and close to both shops and historic attractions. About 20 minutes walk from rail station. A very nice breakfast which included fresh fruit.

The hotel exterior is well maintained, the staff are extremely helpful and the breakfast is good. However, the rooms are "tired" looking. They were probably great at the beginning but they have not aged well.

Bel hotel modern et design. Tres bon emplacement dans zone pietoniere animee avec plein de bons restos. Mais si on arrive en voiture sans connaitre le quartier, l'hotel est difficile a trouver, ainsi que l'acces au parking pour decharger les baggages, puis le parking pour la nuit de l'autre cote du boulevard (gratuit pour les clients de l'hotel). Bref les problemes classiques de stationnement en centre ville.

Se trata de un hotel muy moderno, con mobiliario "de diseño": sillas de Rietveld, armarios de vidrio, etc. Muy agradable para gente moderna, joven y con buen gusto. El hotel se encuentra junto al centro histórico: a cinco minutos a pie de la catedral o el castillo: localización excelente. Esta a cinco minutos de una zona de restaurantes, muy animada, pero sin ninguna molestia por ruidos. Muy tranquilo. El desayuno bastante bueno con una justa relación calidad/precio. En conclusión, este hotel resulta una muy buena opción. El personal de recepción muy atento y competente. Personalmente, volvería a ir sin dudarlo.

Had a wonderful stay at hotel la Perouse, which is cituaited centrally in a lovely city with helpfull staff in an interesting building. Very interesting architecture.

The hotel staff were extremely accomodating to the both of us during our stay. However the overall quality of the hotel seemed dated and overpriced.it seems the price of the room is determined by location and on a reputation of 5 years ago. that said we did enjoy our stay in Nantes, but if we went again we would book a different hotel.

A nice, comfortable hotel with an interesting, modern design. The breakfast was very good and generous.We can easily recommend this hotel

We really enjoyed this hotel! The staff was very helpful, and the location is great. Rooms are a bit small, but very modern and funky.

I thought the hotel was modern, clean and very central, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. very spacious.
