Hotel Amiral - Nantes

My first time in Nantes, hotel great value for money, perfect location, were lucky to be there the 2nd of april 2011 for their big market day, free internet use in the lobby.....would stay again...

I enjoyed my stay at hotel amiral nantes very much! It is a good location with a very warm athmosphere and friendly staff! The value of this hotel is very good!

Nicely placed in the center of Nantes. Room small but clean.

The only problem I encounted was that the hotel-provided wi-fi signal was VERY weak in the rooms.. often running at only 15%. It could only be used if you positioned the laptop near the room door! Otherwise, the hotel is very clean, rooms nicely refurbished, in an ideal location for walking around the city centre.

The room was very clean and nicely appointed. Our only complaint was that there was a lot of partying in the restaurants right outside the hotel. The windows were very effective in cutting out the noise, but our room was hot and the air conditioner did not seem to work. Other than this, everything was very satisfactory.

The hotel opens onto a pedestrian street. It took us a while to drive around to find it. It is in the city center, convenient to browse around on foot. Parking garage(3 Euro overnight plus extra during the day) is just behind the hotel. The room is kind of small but clean. The shower does not have door or curtain. The bathroom would be all wet after shower! No wifi available. They provide a plug-in modem to get onto the internet which is okay.

This hotel is great and in an ideal location, however Venere make it sound as if Breakfast is included in the price,and it is'nt. Still excellent though, just not such as much of a bargain as I thought!!

Superb value for money. It's a really central hotel, near a great shopping area and nice restaurants.

Quietness of the room can not be chudged, as we stayed the night of the'fete de la musique', and of course it was loud.

We only stayed at the Amiral one out of the three nights we were in Nantes as we stayed with friends the first two nights. I would have happily stayed at the Amiral for the entire stay. While the room was not huge, it certainly was adequate for a vacation in Nantes as we were not spending our time in the room. The hotel is truly centrally located to the major sites in town. We walked nearly everywhere we wanted to go. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Quite good overall stay... However, that's a pity that the triple room was not as described ( double bed + single bed but two single beds + one cot instead)... So watch out the triple room availabilities on Internet (confirm and agree with the hotel on the phone before you go)

L'hotel è semplice ma pulito e gradevole. Il personale alberghiero si è dimostrato estremamente cordiale e simpatico, di una disponibilità estrema ad ogni nostra richiesta. Le camera sono carine, pulite e ben tenute. La posizione è comoda per raggiungere facilmente a piedi tutti i punti di maggiore interesse della città. Possiamo dichiararci sicuramente soddisfatti della scelta effettuata.

The room was very small and extremely dark! There was only one towel between two people. We weren't asked whether we wanted a smoking or non-smoking room, we were just put into a non-smoking room. We didn't have breakfast since it was very expensive for what was on offer.

Although the rooms were small the excellent location and service more than compensated. The area was so interesting we spent almost no awake time in our room.

The Amiral was a gem of an hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful,it was in a wonderfully central location and the cleanliness and decor were faultless. I would highly recommend it as excellent value for money and hope to visit again.
