The Property is at walking distance from Nantere Perfecture Metro Station, though one need to devote some time in finding it and climbing 2 floors. The staff hardly speak English and the Beds in the room are not comfortable at all. The Only bright side of this hotel is its direct connectivity to Paris by Metro Train. Its recommended for single traveler.

The price is great value if you do not have large claims, otherwise it is better to go to the "HOTEL RITZ". I would stay there again, because there's been good. Is negative: mold in the bathrooms and showers especially in; should paint the walls and ceiling, because falling debris, and should make available a working elevator for access to the hotel, since it's a first plan, otherwise it's awkward to climb four flights of stairs with luggage in hand and the disabled could not be accommodated.

This hotel resembles me worst russian hotels with their cost around 20 euro. So I didn't like my stay very much. And I was told that there is only one type of rooms, they all are the same. The rooms are noisy, they need repair, not all light bulbs works, there's no light in corridor. If you want to go to undeground parking you should pass through some homeless person sleeping place with their specific smell. I moved to kyriad shelles the next day, it was the same price and kyriad is much more better.

Overall, it was a good stay & excellent value if just for sleeping, and one important fact, it served breakfast. However, there was no water supplies, only using Vending Machine! Also, it was a kill without elevator to go up to the reception; going up 40 stairs with heavy suitcases wasn't a fun thing to do! But, the location is near to public transportation, it was a plus when visiting Paris!!

No air-conditioning in rooms and would be hot and stuffy on a warm day or night. No elevator to the second floor reception area so all luggage must be carried up two flights of stairs - travel light. Inconsistent room cleaning and makeup such as not enough towels some days and no hand soap for the first three days of our stay. Many youth, asian, and eastern european groups use the hotel which add to the noise and put pressure on the four person capacity elevators that go from the reception level to room levels. The hotel is close to the Nanterre RER Metro stop. Certain reception staff are cold and lack any personality.

The 4-bed room was not too big (but enough for 2 adults and 2 young kids). Strong points: - excellent location: RER is 200 meters from hotel, Leader Price convenient store at the RER station (open even on Sunday mornings) - parking in front of the hotel (free during weekends) - friendly staff. Weak points: - the windows are not sound proof - the room is quite used up (but maintaned clean). Overall: excellent price/quality ratio.

I hade a room for 4 persons, but it was actually a double room with 2 beds added. So the space was congested. However since we needed it only for the night stay it was functional. The maintenance is bad- windows not opening, taps not working properly etc.Especially during the summer as there is no fans or airconditioners, the windows needed to be kept open. As it faced a road there is some traffic, and so noise canbe an issue. The entrance is difficult to find, and the hotel board is quite invisible. REception is manned at all times, location is near railstation and there are stores nearby for getting food- so the stay can be managed. So overall the hotel does give reasonable value for money.

We stayed in May 2010 and booked 2 rooms on a Sat night. The hotel is located just behind La Défense and is deserted during WE (empty offices and low cost housing buildings). Both rooms were clean but in bad need of repair/renovation. The hotel is within 5 min on foot from the RER and there is plenty of free parking space around during the WE so it's excellent if you travel by car but want to use public transport. So a bit shabby but good prices for a family travelling by car

55 tough steps upp to hotell and NO elevator. Impossible with bags and children in prams/pusette/barnvagn. Hotel is in very uncharming area, far out of Paris. 10-15 min only to RER station and LOTS of stairs down to platform! Only one little shop in local area. Everything closed and deserted afternoons and evenings! Hotelstaff can help you with nothing and know nothing! PC/Internet and elevator to east-wing does not work since months back. In room we had lots of fungus (mögel) in the broken shower, a leaking toilet, bad smell, big stains on carpet, very cold room, broken handles, chairs, tv and lamps. The bathroom was very bad, really rotten! After a late night we put the "DO NOT DISTURB" sign out, but the cleaner hammered on the door, AND CAME INTO THE ROOM!!! at 9, 10:30 and 11! Stupid people! DO NOT STAY ON THIS HOTEL IF YOU WANT A PLEASENT STAY!

The hotel is quite close to the center, but not so much. The ticket comes to be much expensive than in closer areas. The parking costs 8 euros per day because it's not a private parking but a public one. To get to the hotel (which is several steps over ground floor) there's not an elevator . This has to be said. In the whole I 'd rate 7.

The price is very competitive but you will need to stay further from main city. I was woke up by heavy vehicles one morning but OK for the rest of my stay. Transport between Paris and the Hotel is not bad as the RER station is nearby the Hotel. The escalater serving the ground floor and the hotel main entrance is still under construction, if you have heavy luggages you should take the lift (ask the staffs for the location)

Although this was a budget hotel, I did expect a bit better. The hotel was very shabby both from the outside and in the corridors, lifts and room. Corridors were dimly lit and looked very prison like. Rooms were in need of painting and cleaning thoroughly, carpets were stained and a quad room had only one socket. Air con unit only worked with the help of three bars of soap and a shoe!!! No tea or coffee making facilities and the restaurant was closed for three weeks in main season due to holidays.... Bin men emptying bins and 5.30 am and delivery men at 7 were the wake up calls.. No information given regarding anything at booking in....obviously a cheap room for Paris but not a very good standard. Very disappointed as have used Venere for years and have stayed in perfectly good budget rooms.

infact this hotel exaggerated three stars, if this is truely three stars hotel in france, ithink it should be better-of camping. there is no other service provided, apart from the bed they provided. the television in the room can cause blindness, it is as tiny as anything. the reception is not helpful. they don't help tourist find their ways. internet service is frudulent, rather than a price fix. the double bed is two single beds apart. how would they want to couples to lie on such bed. this hotel should fall below bouget accomodation, and not hotel. apart from where is located, i cannot recommend it for pleasure or comfort, except only for one night.

Hotel quite nice inside but no parking space. I had to park my car in the public parking, under the hotel, where was a failure in the power supply and there is no lift from the parking to the hotel. That made it difficult to carry all the stuff up the stairs. Also reception staff wasn't very kind. When I asked about nearest shop in English I was asked why don't I speak French and I got explanation in French. I think the reception staff in the hotel should be nice and kind and understand that the hotel may visit some foreigner.

People not very the welcoming type, but always helpful when asked. Location very near to RER A station "Nanterre Prefecture" (5 min), metro station "La Defense" on line 1 is 20 minutes away, but the great surroundings in La Defense compensate for it. From there you can see all the way down to Arc de Triumf and can also spot the Eiffel Tower. I strongly recommend to make some long exposure-photos at night in La Defense. Also direct train to Versailles from here. Also: in Paris is everywhere free entrance for people under 26 and from the EU (Louvre, Arc de Triumf, Versailles (here you don't even need to stay in line to get your free ticket like at the Arch) etc., but NOT Eiffel). Get informed in advance and make reservations everywhere it's possible, e.g. Eiffel. Don't miss Montmartre Hill (for drink or coffee), Notre Dame (for holy mess), Latin Quarter (for eating) and Luxembourg Gardens (for relaxing). Enjoy!

Hotel in a good location for travelling/sightseeing (very close to RER station). Besides the size of the rooms (very spacious indeed) the hotel hardly deserves the 3 star qualification; it has virtually no services included besides TV. Very bothered buy the fact that the rooms were old, dusty with mould. To get to the hotel reception we had to climb up two stories on stairs with child and luggage(hotel acces from a suspended esplanade). We put the "Do not bother" sign on the door, and yet the staff knocked insistentley on our door at 08:30 and in spite our express desire to not enter the room, they still entered. An ideal location for single travellers or young couples that do not bother a lot with their accomodation.

The price per room (dbl - 50 EUR) is rather unreachable in Paris for 3stars hotel. Probably 3stars is a little bit too much for this hotel (only reception area is 3-stars one)but it is enough to stay also with young children. Location - very close to Paris centre - three stops by RER (station is 300m from the hotel). But be careful - it is not very easy to get to the hotel from RER station having only address without printed map... The street is separeted by promenade around the station. there are two exits from the station (Nantere Perfecture) - use the one on the right. And then turn right, stright ahead 300m and turn left (30m).

The cleaning staff missed a mark on the carpet, therefore I was not particularly positive as to the cleanliness of the room at first. Overall however the room was properly hoovered, dusted and the bathroom looked shiny too that is why a score 7 is justified. I choose the breakfast option and I was very happy about it as the buffet offers a wide choice of fresh and good quality food: Excellent crusty bread and 2 kinds of croissants, nice ham and delicious cheese. Moreover on Saturday they had fresh fruit salad. Considering that a tea is 4 EUR in most places in Paris, to spend 12 EUR for proper breakfast is worth it.

Tje hotel rate was a real bargain! The very best price-quality match ever. Sheets and bathroom towels were always clean and fresh and shower and bathroom facilities very comfortable. In the hall it is possible to play the piano if other people aren't watching TV in that very moment. Location is ok, just one more train stop from La Defence metro station. The hotel is just 5 min walk from Nanterre Pref. station. We stayed there for 4 nights and to me it was a very good stay, ideal for budget tourists. It will be definitely my hotel for my next trip to Paris. We didn't hv breakfast at the hotel because one can have a very good and rather inexpensive breakfast (freshly made croissants and bread and cappuccino/tea/choco fm vending machine in the same shop) at the Boulangerie in front of the supermarket (RER surface shops). La Defense is the center of the business world in Paris and is just 2 stops on the RER A from the Champs-Elysees. This makes this hotel a great location to stay at, as it can be reached easily and quickly from the RER A and in within eye-shot once you exit the Nanterre Prefecture station (to your left). At night is quite but still, nowhere in any major city is particularly safe at night, so always exercise caution. Apart from that, it is great value for money and I would return anytime! One complaint: showers need shower curtains!! The floor gets really wet without them.

Interno dell'hotel molto carino, hall molto grande, buona accoglienza e camere tranquille e silenziose.

Not like you can move the hotel but it's in a pretty bad location. It took us a while to find the hotel, it was a loooooong ways from Paris and it was no frills. That being said the price was good for what we got. I was pleased, though in the future I'll probably spend a bit more to be closer to Paris.

I would like to warn fellow travellers that is is dangerous to book in this hotel, if you are travelling with family. We arrived around midday in the vicinity of the hotel and it took us more than an hour to find the entrance! There is no operational lift to get to the reception area. The staircase is rather long (almost 2 stories) and once I arrived alone at the reception to ask, how we could come with our bags, we were told that there is NO LIFT and we have to bring our bags ourselves!! I haven't seen any other place where the staff treaded guests so badly. This was the most unwelcome experience in any hotel we travelled!!

We requested a quite room on the online booking form. Our room was quite, initially, until 3 busloads of south italian school kids were placed in the remaining rooms on our floor. After indicating our discomfort, the hotel manager gave us immediately another room in the renovated part of the hotel which was nicer and also bigger than the initial room. And we were invited a bottle of wine as an excuse. The rooms and the service exceeded our expectations.

The hotel is close to the RER station, in a tranquil neighbourhood. The hotel entry is upstairs. There is a moving staircase, but was out of service. There was an expanable bed in the family room which was uncomfortable.

We'd recommend this hotel. Previous reviews were a little off putting but now realise people perhaps too fussy. Wary of things going missing from previous reviews simply carry valuables or deposit so no issue. Staff were polite and helpful. Ideally situated for RER and straight through to Disney if it's your need. Unfortunately, Nanterres falls out of metro zone so you have to pay extra 1.6 E each way to connect and can add up with family. Eating areas around good value, pizza, chinese, turkish kebab, tend to close early especially weekend. Hotel is good place to sleep and use as base as not much in way of entertainment or facilities. Seems to cater for travelling bus parties and seemed quiet most nights on return. Hotel restaurant looked good but never ate in. A quick trip down metro to Defense and you have Quarter Temps huge shopping mall outside, loads of shops and eating places.

Its an average hotel, close to the metro which is a plus. The staff was quite crude, on our arrival we found out that our room was not ready. We arrived quite later then the actual check-in time and were quite tired and wanted to be in our room. The staff wasn't really apologetic about it and it took them about 45 minutes to give us our room!! Upon our check out the receptionist tried to charge us more and when we pointed out that error he was really pissed off and upset. He did refund us our money but not happily! Its an OK hotel for sleeping!

Ottimo rapporto prezzo/servizi. Camera ben disposta, pulita.

I came here with 3 friends for a long weekend. We all found that this hotel was really good quality. Amazing value for money. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were extremelly friendly. The facilities were great. Nearby there was many restaraunts; including a pizzeria and a chinese which i would recommend. Supermarkets and pharmecies, small shops etc. were also extremelly near by. There was also a market in La Defense on the Friday. The metro was also extremelly near , where you can easily access all the sights of Paris. The metro station was called Nanterre Prefecture, practically on the hotel's doorstep. Would definatly return, and recommend to friends.

the hotel is situated near the metro station which is very convenient for traveling to the city. There are some local shops right out of the station where you can buy some food and drink (only in day time). However it is very quiet at night, and it took us some time to look for the hotel since there were nobody around to ask for direction. The escalator that goes up to the first floor to get to the hotel was out of order during the time we stayed so we had to climb up the stairs all the time.

We were somewhat disappointed with the decor of the room we were given. The facilities were very basic, not worth the cost and this is not a 3 star hotel by any means. We thought that breakfast at 11 Euros was not good value despite the children getting free breakfast. This was for a Continental selection. The hotel is very convenient for getting to Disney as the RER is just down the road. Good for getting into central Paris also. We parked in the wrong car park initially as we found the Hotel difficult to drive to and had to ask where to put our car.6 Euros to stay in the hotel carpark was very acceptable however. The area late at night does seem a bit suspect, however we arrived back from Disney quite late and was able to get a good pizza and wine from a local restaurant. We took this back to the hotel. We also got breakfast from the local supermarket. Much cheaper than the minimal continental breakfast at the hotel. If the facilities were to be a little more acceptable, I would recommend this hotel, however I keep some reservation about that
