We felt very welcome at Arhontiko. Great hospitality. Very clean. Good breakfast. Quiet, except for the planes passing over our heads now and then. Easy to get around with the help of the staff, who will drive you where you need to go. Consider a rent car anyway, to compensate for not being in the city. All in all we are very happy with our stay at Arhontiko, and recommend it warmly for your holiday in Mykonos.

This was our first trip to Mykonos and even though it rained almost our entire visit we still had a great time. Takis and Sophia were so welcoming. There hotel is beautifully decorated and so clean. It is possible to walk into town, but they are always available to drop you off. They have a lovely breakfast room and gorgeous pool. we loved our room! Their mother made us lunch one day when it was too rainy to go into town. It was simple and delicious! We would stay here again!!! Thank you again to everyone at Arhontiko!!!

Very nice family, who deserves to come agin. Welcome is super, the whole family is always ready to facilitate the stay. Being a little bit far away from Mykonos center is not an handicap, since the staff is always ready to drive you to or pick you from the center. Excellent adress.

My wife ( Barbara ) & I stayed at the Arhontiko for the 6th time. As usual we had a wonderful time. The room we had was a pool view, very tastefully decorated, very clean & peaceful. The pool area & bar area are lovely & ideal for anybody requiring a pleasant, relaxing stay. We were made very welcome by the owners of the Arhontiko Takis & Sofia & Takis`s parents Costas & Vaso. They have always treated us well & can`t do enough for us. We feel like one of the family & now consider them as being great friends.Takis also offers( on numerous occasions )a free shuttle service to & from Mykonos Town, the Port & the Airport. All the staff at the Arhontiko are also very friendly & efficient. We will definately be staying at the Arhontiko again.

The owner, receptionist & lady at the breakfast/lunch bar were great, only one thing slightly spoilt the stay for me, the driver of the hotel minibus. He seemed to be in a bad mood most of the time, which he took out on his driving. At one point he was dropping people off at the airport & was to drop me in town after, I thought this would save him an extra trip however, he appeared to forget I was there, even though I was sitting beside him. He then made a tutting noise, which I assumed meant he had remembered he had to drop me off. I appreciate he didn't speak much English, but a smile would've gone a long way. Apart from that, overall, I thought the Pension was lovely & far better than I expected. So much effort seemed to have gone into the colours of the rooms & the type of furniture in them. The continental breakfast was good. I had lunch there a couple of times, which was delicious. And the other guests seemed friendly enough.

Once the ferry finally got to Mykonos (high winds) we were enthusiastically greeted by Takis, who drove us to the hotel. Since the high winds were keeping people on the island, we were given an apartment room but they kept the price the same as our smaller room! Throughout our time, Takis drove us to town often, suggested great beaches and got us back to the port with plenty of time to catch our outgoing ferry! Takis and his family are very welcoming and run a great property! If we can get back to Greece, Arhontiko will be on our list!

My wife and I had a wonderful holiday at the Arhontiko. The hotel is in an exellent position for us. ( Lovely quiet location just outside Mykonos Town ). The hotel, pool area and bar area are spotlessly clean. The rooms have a very modern aspect about them, with very tasteful decor. You could not ask for better hosts than Takis and Sophia,(the owners of the Arhontiko). Takis also provides a free shuttle service between the hotel and airport, port area and Mykonos Town.Takis`s Father and mother (Costas and Vaso)also work at the hotel and also provide an exellent friendly service. The food at the hotel is good. The breakfasts are exellent, with plenty to chose from. I would highly recommend the Arhontiko to other travellers.

Thanks to Takis, Vasiliki, Costas, and Litsa for making us feel welcome at their pension. They really mean it when they advertised "heartfelt hospitality". We had an enjoyable and relaxing stay at Arhontiko. And even though the property lies a bit away from Mykonos town centre, Takis would drive us down and pick us up in town, the old port or new port. Also, there is a nice pension restaurant which serves up homecooked meals. We ate there 4 times during our 3-day stay. This is a great family running a great pension. I will definitely come back!

The space is beautiful. Very clean and well appointed rooms. It looks even better than the pictures on the website. Most of the staff is friendly. And Alex at the bar is Mykonos's best kept secret. He will tell you about all the hot spots on the island and he makes the best vodka lemonade in Greece. The hotel is located outside of town. You really need a car or scooter to get back and forth from the hotel. But you really should rent a vehicle on Mykonos anyway. Taxis are really unreliable and the buses only go to certain beaches. We would definitely go back to the Arhontiko.

Hotel Arhontiko was a wonderful experience. When we were laying out in the pool area, we felt like we were at a private home in Beverley Hills. The rooms were clean and quiet and the service was excellent. It is family owned, and everyone was friendly and accomodating. The hotel is not walking distance to town, however they have a tram that will take you in that runs about every 15 minutes...It was a very relaxing experience, a perfect way to end our holiday before we headed back to the states.

Recently refurbished with tasteful, modern furnishings. Attention to detail. Helpful, friendly staff. Shuttle service to the town centre and back from early morning until 10pm (free service). Good choices at breakfast which was included. Sophia and husband were extremely helpful organising moped hire, posting mail and shuttling us and our bags between the town and hotel. Can't say enough about this place.

This place blew us away with the immaculate care and attention to detail. From the moment Takis picked us up at the Ferry, joking with us and telling us all about the island, we knew it would be a great stay. When we arrived, his wife, Sofia, told us everything we needed to know about the island and then we went to the salt-water pool for a dip and a drink before hopping into the rental car delivered to the hotel to explore Mykonos island. All of this for a super cheap rate. We simply couldn't believe it. If you go to Mykonos, don't stay anywhere else. They offer free shuttles to downtown and rides to airport to and fro. We love this place, and next time we're there we'll get the poolside room (each is decorated differently, as Takis insisted on showing us one night). Oh, and the furniture in the room as fabulous. A mix of Greecian simplicity and Ikea. Best hotel we stayed on our honeymoon, by far. And also the cheapest!
