Rooms like a youth hostel, one room with two additional iron beds like a jail! One room just above the noisy kitchen-fan outlet, which let you smell what the evening dinner would be. Miserable breakfast with only one kind of bread you could'nt eat.

Great hotel and a nice quiet location. Directions to get there are somewhat confusing though. From Siena we took SS223 and took the exit to Fontazzi and made a left at the T junction. As soon as you make a left, the hotel is on the right. It's about a 20-25 min drive from Siena.

great cook, great service, except the lady of the house. She disklikes (foreign?) guests and doesn't put much effort to hide this.

Decent size hotel in a very remote location in the hills outside Siena. Nice people. Pool and a professional kitchen. They had a Buffet the thursday we were there, and I think the whole town came. At 30 euros, it only makes sense if you are hungy, but the food was good. No internet access, but I asked and the desk gave me their router security code so I could use their hotel network. You have to appreciate the service when things like that happen.

There was a decided Twin Peaks flavor to the place. It was eerily deserted, possibly because it's in the middle of nowhere. It's about a 30 min. drive to Siena. Stay there instead. Nothing in the hotel is new, but it was clean enough for a night.

We were at this hotel for a very short time - shorter than planned because of car trouble on the way there - we didn't get to enjoy the pool which was the reason we booked it. We have to commend the young lady who was working the night we came in who stayed until nearly 2:00 in the morning to let us in. (we had 2 rental cars break down on us in the course of the day) She was understandably upset but very nice to us under the circumstances. The rooms were roomy and the area beautiful.

The Hotel and staff were very good food good and the position of the hotel also good. The only noise problem was an adjacent bedroom that did not have a carpet so the dressing table chair made a lot of noise when it was moved by the occupant (6.20am)for 5 or 6 days

From North on A1 highway, take the exit Firenze Certosa and follow the indications to Siena then to Grosseto for about 16 km. Exit at Fontazzi and proceed uphill for 4 km until you reach the hotel.

From South on A1 highway, take the exit Val di Chiana and follow the indications to Siena then to Grosseto for about 16 km. Exit at Fontazzi and proceed uphill for 4 km until you reach the hotel.
