Hotel Nelva - Murcia

The Nelva sits about a twenty minute walk from the center of Murcia. It is wonderfully situated and equipped for business meetings and events, including weddings and reunions. We were there as part of our holiday and we were impressed by the hotel and the city. The Nelva is impeccable and well-appointed. Of all the hotels we stayed in during our holiday (seven in thirty days), the Nelva was among the finest. It carries three stars which are well derserved, and they ought to be considered for a fourth. The front desk, service staff and lounge staff were courteous and helpful. Both the front desk and lounge staff were multi-lingual. We were pleasantly surprised by the Nelva and most definitely would return again.

Lovely hotel, nice and relaxing. Room was clean and spacious. Very much enjoyed my stay, would definitely return and will also recommend to others.

Great hotel. Modern rooms and common areas (pool, outdoor seating tables/couches, etc.) Convenient parking beneath the hotel. Wonderful service by the friendly staff. Hotel restaurant was a little expensive, but served good food. Wine list was more than adequate. Exercise room had cardio equipment and some barbells. The only downside was the location, but it was only a four Euro taxi ride to the places we wanted to see. Overall, I would definitely go back to this hotel.

We were in Murcia to visit our neice. We picked Hotel Nelva because of the price, and were pleasantly surprised to find it is a true 4-star hotel. There is a car park directly under the hotel. The location is not the best, but you can take a taxi anywhere you need to go in Murcia for about four Euro. The staff was friendly and helpful. Room service was fast and efficient. The restaurant (Oro Negro) had delicious food and a good selection of wine. The swimming pool was closed (due to the season) but we enjoyed sitting outside on the comfortable furniture. The fitness room had various cardio machines and some barbells - not a true gym, but enough for a workout. Overall - I highly recommend this hotel for all your needs, and I will definitely stay there again if I return to Murcia.

Hi, It remains me a secret why this high-standard excellent hotel is there in Murcia, in the middle of nowhere in the desert of miserable spanish countryside. I hope it was a lucrative decision to the investors to build this hotel. I enjoyed my stay there and only can recommend to everyone.

This is a very modern hotel within walking distance (20-25 mns) of the centre of the City - although through a rough area. It's located on the ring road adjacent to a large shopping area which includes a Burger King so could be very useful for families. It has a very attractive lobby marred by unfriendly and not at all helpful reception staff. It has clearly set itself up as a conferencing hotel since it had a succession of events - resulting in the restaurant being closed the night we stayed there. If you like Chinese food don't go to the Chinese restaurant behind the hotel adjacent to the Carrefour. The room was fine but on the small side and had a somewhat bizarre mural on one wall which probably made the room look smaller than it really was.

Incredible prices for such a high quality hotel. Wonderful design, high quality fittings and fixtures in the rooms. Staff service about average for Spain. Some staff excellent, others ????

Nice and modern hotel with excellent restaurant and service.

Very good hotel. If you go to Murcia you have to go to Nelva. 20 minutes walking to the center.
