I was in Munich one week for work, the hotel is very clean, quiet and in very good position to enjoy Munich. Near the hotel you will find tram station (line 17) and the metro station (U4 & U5), also you can walk to reach Munich center (Marienplatz - about 500 mt).

There was a very bad smell in our room like a dead mouse.

We were really of our stay in this place. It is really near of U-bahn and really near to the city center. Room was cleaned and as indicated in the website. Only bad point: breakfast is too much expensive despite the fact it is good. To be recommended

Great hotel for the price. Clean, spacious, and hotel staff are very helpful. About 20-25 minute walk to the centre, or take the U-bahn from Lehel station (5 mins away). We didn't have breakfast included but there was a coffee shop and bakery close by. This is a far cheaper option than the 12 euro per head breakfast. Thoroughly recommended.

This hotel is an amazing value considering it's location. Only a short walk from The Residenz, Englischer Garten, and the Hofbrauhaus. For only $105 per night we received a spacious double room (very comparable to a standard hotel room in the U.S.) with modern and stylish furnishings and very comfortable beds. I highly recommend this hotel. The only negative aspect of my stay was the wireless internet service offered by the hotel. The provider is Swisscom and they offered two different plans (standard or business). I purchased the business plan (17 euros for 24 hours) so I could upload photos and use voice over IP to make phone calls, but the connection speed was extrememly slow. For 17 euros I expect a fast and reliable internet connection. That being said, I still think this is an excellent hotel for the money.

I spent a very nice weekend with my girlfriend in December. The hotel was not in the crowded area but quite close to the city center, 10 min walking. An ideal accomodation for people looking for a clean, comfortable and quiet stay after returning from a visit in the center. One bad note: arriving late in the night you need to know your hotel room in advance to get the key from an automatic machine.I was not informed about this.

the walls of the rooms need to be painted again ,it doesnt look clean , some of the rooms have a strong smell of tobaco, I asked to change the room , and they change me , but there was also some smell, the bathroom is very small, and without any detail . the breekfast to expensive, there better hotels in the area and better ratio price quality.

Very good hotel, in a charming and quiet neiborhood, near the centre. Just too expensive during Oktoberfest, like all Munich hotels A non smoking reception would be appreciated !!!!!

Booked 1 night in a double room on our way to Austria. Good value for the price, room and bathroom very clean and recently renovated (new carpets, tiles, etc). Small but functional bathroom. Friendly staff. Walking distance (10 - 15 mins) from Munich's center, located in a quiet street (nice looking residential area, away from traffic). Did not have breakfast in the hotel, but there are a couple bakeries nearby. Parking available at hotel (about 12 Euros per night).

Wireless service was not available for the entire period of 3 days. If the contractor is not consistent, get another contractor! However, a nice Internet hot spot at California Coffee around the corner. Breakfasts were not worth 12 Euros. Advice to visitors is get the free coffee in the lobby and go out for breakfast. Location is really good, including easy walking distance to downtown, and plenty of neighborhood restaurants.

Good location. Metro station "Lehel" is in 2 min. walking. English garden is in 10 min. walking. Very quiet and safety surroundings. A few restautants and bars are available in 2 min. by foot. Friendly and helpful stuff. Nice furnished and clean rooms. Good breakfast. Would recommend this hotel. Would stay here in my next visit to Munich.

Due to some work, started too early in the morning (8.00 am), we heared some noises. In the photos the room seems larger. Nice position quite near to the city center.

The hotel was in a great location, just a few minutes' walk from the subway in a more residential area. There were plenty of restaurants (including Middle Eastern and Indian food) and stores (Apotheken und Drogerien) right in the area. The staff was friendly and helpful in finding sights and travel offices on the map for us. Unfortunately one staff member misinformed us of the availability of laundry on Saturday and we were unable to clean our clothes. The rooms were nice but could use repainting, possibly due to furniture rearrangement. Snack and drink items available in the room were expensive, as was breakfast, which we opted not to eat at the hotel. The location and nice enough experience would bring me back, but I would prefer to pay a little a less.

Very nice hotel at a great price(68 euro per night for a double room)! Room small but adequate, very clean and comfortable, quiet. Public areas very nice and free coffee, water, etc. always available. Reception staff was helpful and pleasant. The only hitch was an inability to find our reservation, but with our printout that was immediately rectified. We walked to all the main city areas and found the neighborhood pleasant and clean. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

One receptionist was not so kind.

The Hotel staff tried to charge us for breakfast which we didn't have then insisted on getting the dining room staff to confirm that they did not give us breakfast before ungratiously and without apology refunding the charge. The rooms assigned were the smallest and noisiest rooms on two different floors beside the elevator even though the hotel was pretty empty.

This hotel is very close to the English Garten, so a great summertime location. We were there in December, so it was a little further away from Marienplatz than we would have preferred. The price was great, though and it worked out well for us.

Good hotel in quiet residential area, a bit difficult to reach by car, though, most of the streets around are one--way. Competent service, private parking (EUR 5/day in our case)
