King's Hotel Center - Munich

We very much enjoyed our stay at King's Hotel. It was very clean, comfortable and had several forms of security. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious compared to many other places we stayed on this trip. The hotel is located very close to the Haufbahnhof. It is about 2-1/2 blocks to walk. There is a market one block away and even though people have mentioned that there are casinos and other questionable establishments nearby, they were far enough away not to be an issue. We got 30 minutes of free Wifi per day which was enough to allow us to check e-mail and verify plane flights. We did not take breakfast because it was too expensive. Would definitely return to King's Hotel.

Nice hotel. Very quiet room. The only thing we didn't like was that the room was very small.

Campanile was excellent. Rooms weren't as quiet as hoped. Street noise was limited but other guests with closing doors etc was prevalent.

Very nice hotel in a very convenient area if you are traveling in and out of Munich by rail. Safe, comfortable, property is in excellent condition.

Everyone knows that Munich welcomes every year thousands and thousands italian people. It's very strange that the staff of the hotel doesn't speak Italian. However English is perfect.

King's Hotel Center was a perfect location for us - close to the train station. We enjoyed the clean room and the perfectly helpful employees. I would recommend this hotel for those looking for clean well-appointed rooms near the train. It's not a picturesque location, and it's not located where you might find a lot of tourist attractions; so take that into account if you are looking for those things. There are good food and coffee access close by, banks also. I don't know if larger rooms are available, so I cannot recommend for those with children; but they may have rooms to accommodate.

We booked this hotel for one night in Munich. We arrived in the morning from a overnight train from Florence, and the rooms were available for us at 7:30 am in the morning. We were able to take a shower and get an entire day of sight seeing done. Staff is extremely efficient and friendly, very helpful with whatever questions we may have. Even went online to confirm that there are subway trains to the Munich airport at 4 am in the morning for us. Rooms are small, and smells like clove. Maybe it is the cleaning agent they use. But, good price for a clean hotel near the main train station. I highly recommend this hotel.

We had a whistle stop 2 days in Munich and the Kings Hotel made an excellent base. Near to the railway station for our next train but also walking distance of the centre. Would not hesitate to stop here again as we didn't see half of the places we would have liked to.

This is an excellent hotel for travelers. The staff is very helpful. The rooms are small but comfortable, and spotless. The updated bathrooms are excellent. The location near the train station and major attractions is extremely convenient. This hotel is outstanding value for the price. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is very convenient to the main train station and metro line of Munich (within walking distance). From the airport just take the S8 metro line to downtown Muncih (about 25 minutes).It's good to be close to the train station for the convenience of taking sightseeing tours. We did a day trip by train to Salzburg, Austria and another day trip by train to Neuschwanstein Castle. Both trips I would highly recommend.The hotel surroundings were mostly other hotels and office buildings. A central shopping district was about a 10 minute walk away. The rooms were very nice but small. The only complaint we have is that breakfast was an additional 12 euro p/p which was a bit expensive.

The hotel is about 3 to 5 min walk from the Hauptbahnhof and about 10 mins for the Marienplatz,the main shopping area in Munich. The hotel caters to both business and pleasure travelers. This my second time staying at King's Hotel Center on Marsstrasse and I have no complaints

The room is too small.

Albergo pulito, posizione ideale per andare in centro facendo una passeggiata di 15 minuti. Molto carina la parte esterna dove si fa colazione, curata nei particolari. Parcheggio sia davanti all'Hotel che nel multipiano adiacente. Consiglio a chi vuole visitare e stare bene a Monaco.

The King's Hotel was very centrally located. It was close to the train station. It was clean, the staff was very helpful. I will be traveling to Germany again soon and will stay at the King's Hotel.
