Hotel Opéra - Munich

Hotel Opera is a beautifully constructed building, with a convincing Roman theme throughout. It seemed that each of the different rooms had a unique style (i.e. not bland carbon copies of each other) and the courtyard where breakfast and dinner was served was, in particular, a very pleasant place to be. The staff were friendly and helpful and helped to make our stay very enjoyable.

Lovely Hotel in a quiet setting yet only 5 minutes walk from Maximillian Strasse.Staff are fluent in English and very helpful. Local area has a number of excellent restaurants - we particularly liked "Gandl" which has an eclectic menu.Very handy to U Bahn.

The room was beautiful and the staff was first class. The only downside was that there was no airconditioning. Fortunately, the hotel provided a fan and it did cool down in the evening.

Poor breakfast. Too expansive.

Schön und gekonnt antik eingerichtetes Zimmer, leider einwenig ungepflegt und vernachlässigt: Polstermöbelsitz zerschlissen, Vorhangsaum heruntergerissen, Teppich auf Balkon verbraucht, Geranien daselbst nicht gepflegt, schade. Frühstück fein.

The location is great. The hotel is very nice but pricey.

In their site there is only one room in chinece style. The others rooms are very different. We had a disagreement about the room they had booked for us. It was unacceptable for **** hotel. We found one other after a negotiation with a very kind manager of the hotel. I explained them that they must change their site because the photographs dosen't corresponded to the realy style of rooms.
