We would not have chosen this hotel if we had realised that it was an estimated 3Km further out from the centre than the main part of Nymphenburg. However, once we found the hotel we could not fault the facilities and service and would chose to stay there again. Both the map and the written instructions on the Venere website for finding the hotel by car were misleading and need to be improved. With better instructions, the hotel would be very easy to find, whereas we wasted 45 minutes looking for it! It is in a quiet street, near to the roundabout at the end of the A8 autobahn.

This is a very nice, cozy little hotel. It is a bit "out of the way" but once you get used to Munich's great public transportation system that is not a problem. I would absolutely stay there again.

The innkeeper is also a gradener. The flowers were gorgeous both inside and out. There is a lovely patio and sunroom for breakfast that looks out over the small garden. The food was excellent. One of our group uses a walker and there was no elevator but she managed quite well.

As we travelled as a family, 2 adults and 2 older kids, we had to rent two rooms. One room was more spacious, located to the back of the building and had a balcony. The other room was much smaller with only one window. As there was no air conditioning, this was a bit of an issue as a breeze could not be generated by only having one window in the room. In any event, the breakfast was outstanding. We parked our car at the hotel and took the bus and trains which were quite convenient to downtown Munich. Overall our stay was enjoyable.

The location is at the edge of Munich, but not bad to reach, if you have a car. The premises were kept clean and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast offerings were very good. We enjoyed our stay.

From the A8 highway exit, take Bergsonstraße street and continue until you reach the hotel.
By train
From Munich railway station, take the S-Bahn train to Pasing. Then take bus number 56 and get off at the stop in front of the Hotel Bertha von Suttner Weg, which is very close to the property.
By airplane
From Munich airport, take the S-Bahn express train nr. 8 in direction Pasing, then switch over to bus line nr. 56 and get off at the stop in front of the hotel Bertha von Suttner Weg.
