The price paid was really good, but the walls between rooms are very thin, I felt at times I was in bed with the person sleeping in the next room. His snoring was terrible. And the doors don't close properly, they make a funny noise.

there was cigarette smell in the room. The room was too small - no space to put even the suitcases. Old fashioned furniture, may be renovated 20 years ago. Even the door of the room was a little bit strange. Anyway, the location is good. The breakfast is not so bad. Butmainly due to the type of the room and the cigarette smell we shall not stay there again.

Recent flooding in hotel so no free WIFI as indicated in ad. However the hotel made available the pay-for-use business center computers free of charge. But I chose this hotel by price and free WIFI; I prefer the convenience of WIFI in my room and then can make cheap phone calls on my laptop, too.

The Hotel is quite. Service very good. Good breakfast. Rooms are a little bit small but for one night, it's enough.

Unfortunately some public works were done in the street close to the hotel during all the nights of our stay in Munich. The hotel has not air conditioning and the summer nights has been hot. We thank a lot the courtesy of the staff who helped us to survive to the above accidents.

A real fraud. They sold a double room and gave us a tiny single room with two little beds together. The prices were outrageous and the services poor. I will never come back.

lontano dal centro, pulizia scarsa e stanze davvero piccole

Nice welcome and very good buffet for breakfast. Single room very very small but clean. Very close to train station (about 15 minutes walk).

Quite a good hotel. Nothing fancy, but very close to the city centre. A little bit noisy, not so cheap, but Munich isn't a cheap town. The breakfast, included in the booked price, was rich and quite good.

I enjoyed my stay at the Montree even though it was slightly farther from the historic centre than quoted. The room was nice spatious and clean but it did have that cigarette smell to it, probably from a previous occupant. The breakfasts were very good-buffet style with a lot of variety, the staff was very friendly and helpfull, and there was internet access on site.

The website says this is a 3 star hotel, but it definitely deserves no more than 2. The most annoying thing was that the heater in the bathroom was insufficient. Also, all common areas were cold. The hotel is located near a tram stop and it's possible to reach the city center on foot (30 min). We could not find a place in the garage and had to leave the car on the street (free of charge).

The hotel was hard to get to since it is located in a one-way street. The personnel was extremely friendly and helpful! The rooms were very tiny (we had our 16 months old baby with us and had barely enough room to put up his travel bed)and only moderatly clean (white curtains were grey with dirt, carpet dirty (old). Breakfast was great and again personnel was extremely friendly at the breadfast area as well. The hotel was located at least 20-25 min walk from the center but only one block away from the Loewenbraeuhaus restaurant which was great. The welcoming and very friendly staff of the hotel made up for the few short comings that we encountered. Overall this wasn't a bad hotel to stay in, but if I had stayed longer than one night I'd have wanted something more compfortable.
