Hotel Meier City München - Munich

We stayed 3 nights in Munich. The Hotel Meier's location is excellent. Near the main sightseeings and in a city centre. The hotel is very easy to reach from airport. Train to main railwaystation and a few minutes walk. Very good breakfast. Good price/quality.

Hotel Meier City is a hidden gem. It is very well located – close to the main train station as well as to the main shopping area and Marienplatz. The hotel is located on a pedestrian thoroughfare and so relatively quiet. The rooms are small but comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel serves a superb buffet breakfast which is included in the room rate. The breakfast offers a wide ranging hot and cold buffet – the best that we have seen in our travels.

Hotel in shop area by car is hard to get to the front of the hotel room was clean but very simpel as it is in Munchen, i think the price was right, in an other place: too high internet for free, no log in

Simple hotel, excellent breakfast choice served in a spacious and bright room. Everywhere clean and in good repair. Perfect for a short stay in the centre of the city.

Great location, very close to Marienplatz, shopping, and subway. Room for myself, husband, and child under 12 was tiny, wheareas couple traveling with us had a much larger room for same price. Elevator was tiny, hard to haul luggage. People with limited mobility or seniors might have a hard time. We stayed overnight and had an early wake up to airport, so didn't get to have the included breakfast.

I was very satisfied with stay, next time I will come again in Meier hotel.

Free Internet and WiFi, Delicious and abundant breakfast buffet, really really close to Main Train Station and the Historical Center of the City. Never seen something comparable in the ratio quality/price all over the world...and I do travel a lot.

Excellent location, close to start of several scheduled tours and train station. Breakfast was more than adequate and well served

This clean, low-frills hotel has an unbeatable location just outside the central train station (Hauptbanhof). Check-in was smooth and courteous, and they have smoke-free rooms.

I think hotel meier is beautiful nearby the center,quiet and clean. Very important for sightseeing and for business because there is a garage to fifty metres.

Hotel is ideally situated in the middle of a shopping & eating street and close to the railway station. The room was a little small and had no air conditioning which was a problem as the weather was very hot during our stay

3 night stay in Aug 09. The Good: Great location,clean room and nice breakfast. The not so good: Fairly hard bed,no air conditioning, so hot in summer and with windows open gets noisy. Sparse decore(it ain't the Ritz!). Would likely consider another hotel in area with air conditioning and price compare. Fine if you want clean and convenient, just don't expect too much.

Ideale Lage in der Fußgängerzone zwischen Hauptbahnhof und Stachus. Sehr guter Gegenwert für den Preis. In der Zukunft ist das Hotel für mich erste Wahl.

The Hotel is situated near the central station,departure point for city tours, restaurants and shopping mall. Rooms are spacious and well equipped. The breakfast room is spacious and a good quality breakfast is provided.

We reserved a twin room It was for an overnight stay for flight connections.

We stay at hotel Meier for the first time. The location of the hotel is excellent. The room was nice and very clean. the breakfast buffet was very good. We recommend this hotel and the next time when we will be in Munchen we will stay again in Hotel Meier.

Right across the Hauptbanhof but in pedestrian area is convenient for all the well organized means of transoprt and at a walk distance from the city centre. Small hotel very quiet and welcoming. Bright and really clean room.That's a pity there is no climatization in rooms, so that in hot weather and windows open on street side we heard the noise of people until late at night. Reach breakfast, very kind staff. We enjoyed a lot our stay and we are planning another holiday right in this hotel.

This hotel is conveniently placed for the main railway station and is only a short distance from the old city centre. The was a warm welcome from the receptionists and they were extremely helpful. The room was clean comfortable though for me the pillows were far too soft and unfortunately prevented a good night's sleep. An excellent buffet breakfast is included in the price.

We had a pleasant stay in this hotel. The Hotel is near of bus stop, metro (subway)station even we can walk a few minutes to get to interesting places. I recommend this hotel if you look for well located, pleasant and no expensive hotel.

Very good position, just in front of the train station and five minutes walk from the historic center. Good quality breakfast. Internet connection included (wireless).

2 Minutes from the main station where bus tours also commence and 5 minutes from Marienplatz. You can walk almost anywhere from here. This is our 2nd stay here and we recommend this hotel. The breakfasts are excellent.Graet value

I would only say that if we come back to Munich we will nearly sure go again to this Hotel. They were some cheaper options, but the location is perfect,cleanliness of room, employees, free wiffi... Only small comments: leaving time was 11.00, too early and breakfast only till 10.30 also too early for the weekend considering the nightlife in Munich...

Los cuartos estaban muy limpios y espaciosos. la zona del desayuno también amplia y el desayuno muy bien servido, con pan caliente del horno. Puedes ocupar el estacionamiento de la plaza por sólo seis euros el día. El único problema es que en el edifico de atrás están construyendo y por las mañanas con las ventanas abiertas es un ruido insoportable.

The location was very convenient and breakfast was great. The Europe Cup final was during our stay, so night noise was a problem -- I'm not sure if that was unusual.

The best thing about this hotel is the location. I was travelling alone, so location is important for me. The hotel is just across the Central Train Station and close to all the day tour departure section (in front of karstadt dept store)- 1 minute walk, I stay 2 days in Munich and I was joining day tour. The other good thing is that it is very close to marienplatz (the shopping arcade and where all the crowd is). The room is very clean, although it is small, but i guess you cant really expect much from european hotels :). The only minor thing is that as we are located in the middle of the city, so it was quite noisy when you open the window at nite. Maybe it was Friday nite when I stay there the first nite, but apart from that it was alrite. But overall, I enjoy my stay in meier hotel for its convenience location and clean room.

Excellent Hotel, and I would recommend it to anyone highly.
