Hotel Hauser an der Universitaet - Munich

This hotel was outstanding. Like other reviewers, the location couldn't be better being right in the middle of a university area (unless you like being where nothing happens and is boring). A 10 minute walk gets you to what Munich is famous with their central square for walking, eating, drinking or shopping. The room did feel small, but this is normal for an old and dense European city. Things were modern and clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was very good and the staff was very friendly. They have limited car parking and I wouldn't recommend bringing anything larger than a compact car as it won't fit. I would definitely book here again.

Difficlt to unload the car as no parking outside

It was extremely easy to find from the train station. The interior was very nice and the breakfast was excellent. I would definetly stay here again. The bathroom was a little outdated but was clean.

My favorite haunt for brief visits to Munich. The hotel is nice, friendly, quiet, inexpensive & surrounded by decent international restaurants.

This is one of the best hotels in Munich, I stayed here 5 times in different periods of the year and I have always found a great welcoming and an excellent relation between quality and price. The hotel is located in the heart of the university neighbourhood, and it is close to all the facilities. The rooms are clean and quite nice, very silent, and well warmed in Winter. I will stay there again in the future.

Relatively good value--Munich is an expensive town

The rooms are small with two separate beds.

Warm, welcoming hotel. Flexible - put extra bed in daughter's room when she arrived with friend (she booked separately). Delicious breakfast. Excellent location for visiting city: close to University, art galleries and Englischer Garten.

I stayed 2 nights . The room I stayed (snigle room no:21) was verry small , it was like a prison cell. Rooms was clean( except the towel i had for the fist night) Hotel crew was nice and helpfull , location is perfect

I was here for the fourth time, and it is always the best choice to stay in Munich. Excellent familiar hotel in the heart of Schwabing, the university neighbourhood of Munich, very close to the city centre and to the main monuments and museums. The hotel is very nice and so is the personnel. The breakfast is good and abundant and the rooms clean, silent and comfortable. Excellent relation price - quality.

Wonderful hotel for a pleasant stay in Munich! The hotel personnel is very friendly and, as the hotel is in the heart of the university neighbourhood, you have any service in few minutes. It is 10 minutes from the city centre.

The breakfast was great. The comforter and pillow were feather quility which were very confortable. Hotel close to the underground station but need to walk 15 mins to the old town where has many hotels and the price were similar. The host was polite but I didnt feel them in the friendly way.
