We stayed in room 229 on the second floor for 3 nights in this hotel. The cleaniest and tidiest room we stayed in Germany, really spotless,congratulation...Everything was nice but breakfast is not included and 13.50 euro for it too much so we went out. Internet is not free and it is rare now in europe and it is free everywhere if you have a cup of tea or coffe.so without breakfast and internet it is a bit expensif that's why i won't returne to this hotel but otherwise the hotel is perfect for the rest.Really clean and 10 m.from the station so easy to go everywhere.

Lovely hotel directly across the street from the main train station, and just a minute's walk from shopping, restaurants, and sights. Spacious, very clean, and nice, with a great breakfast buffet. One of the best hotels we stayed in during our trip to Germany.

I was very pleased with my room at the Europaischer Hof hotel....My flight in to Munich arrived at 8am, and I was at the hotel and checked in by 9:30 (!). It was rather early to expect my room to be ready, but they offered me breakfast while I waited. The buffet, even though near closing time, was still very extensive. The hotel is very conveniently located....the only way to be closer to the train station would be to stay at the hotel in the station. It is only about a 10 minute walk to the Old Town and the delightful clock Tower at Marienplatz. I had the window closed, as it was quite chilly, but there was no problem with traffic noise, etc. Being a single traveler, I did not expect a spacious room, but it was very comfortable, and was cozy. On my return to Munich, to catch my flight home, I stayed there again.

Very noisy at night, a youth hostel as a neighbour. Unfresh carpet. 1 of 2 lamps in bathroom and lamp on desk did not work. Great breakfast.

Yes, yes, yes, location as far as access to sights very good, breakfast very nice, rooms clean and comfy - GREAT value for the price. Downside: young woman at desk was very cool, not exactly welcoming. And while hotel is right across the street from bahnhof, the neighborhood left me feeling a little uncomfortable when walking to and from hotel to sights - it was a bit seedy, aesthetically unappealing. However, the hotel itself is very safe, quiet - we felt secure once inside.

Ridiculous bath/shower design which meant the water sprayed the ceiling and you could not stand up properly in the bath without hitting your head on the ceiling. Breakfasts were good. Directions when leaving the central station could be improved - ie building has green neon lights and you can't see the red colour of the building in the dark.

An excellent hotel especially for proximity to the station. Well appointed room and en suite, good breakfast. We found it quiet and pleasant and easy to walk out to find the shops and other sites of Munich. We would certainly book this hotel again in the future.

Very close to the railway station. Approximately 10-15 min on foot to city centre. There was no air-conditioner in the room (but weather was not hot, so it was not important). The safe in the room was big (~A4 format). It was possible to buy daily tickets for public transport at the reception.

Hotel Europaischer Hof is very reasonable in terms of price for quality. It's one of the cheaper priced hotels in Munich and offers good facilities and a great (hot) breakfast. The area is extremely safe and, contrary to reviews online, not seedy at all! It's a 10 minute walk to the heart of Munich (Marienplatz and all of the great shopping), or a 2 minute train ride from the conveniently located (Hauptbahnhof) train station across the street. The area is relatively quite (especially if you get an inside room) and the desk staff is quite helpful. My wife and I recommend this place to anyone travelling to Munich. The only drawbacks are that there is only one elevator for such a large hotel, so, sometimes, it takes forever for the elevator to arrive. Also, the luggage room is too small to accomodate all of the clientel, so you may need to leave your luggage in the small lobby where anyone can walk away with it. Instead, just walk across the street and pay 4 Euros for a large locker in the train station.

Great Hotel in excellent location just a pelican crossing from the Hoptbahnhoff. Staff were helpful and polite and our corner room was huge. View was internal but that mean no street noise and suited us perfectly. Excellent value for money. Would definitly use again.

I picked this hotel for its location by the train station, which made it convenient to get to and from the airport as well as around and about Munich. It was comfortable and quiet, and the breakfast was wonderful. My only disappointment was not having a room with air conditioning on our return trip, although I thought we had it our first time through Munich.

Very nice place. We were only two, but they gave us a very big room. The position is wonderful because it's close to the central station and se center, so it's easy to reach it from the airport and the transports in the city is unuseful because everything is close to the hotel. The last thing i can say it's that the breakfast is wonderful. You can eat a lot of kind of things and the food is great.

Hotel was quite large and just across from the main train station. This meant it was easy to get to, and in a good location to the rest of the city, although could be a little noisy/dodgy outside at night. No noise if windows were closed. Room was spacious and breakfast was fantastic - a huge buffet with lots to choose from! Staff were courteous and helpful.
