The cleanliness of the hotel and room was excellent. Large buffet breakfast was excellent. A little out of the way. The closest train station into Munich was about 4 miles away.

A fantastic hotel, but was it really necessary to test the burglar alarm next to the breakfast room exactly at breakfast hour? also, woke up because of people talking in the next room/outside. staff not always totally professional. still and nevertheless, a great hotel.

Dear Sir or Madam: We had serious difficulty locating your hotel. The emailed address by Venere.com was absolutely insuffient without directions and a working phone number. We arrived in Munchen on 22-Sept-05 at 1600 thinking we had ample time to find the hotel. Local maps and maps of Munchen were inadequate. A gas station attendant on route 13 denied knowing where Hotel Amper Villa was. The next gas station attendant (bless her heart) tried with her own personal cell phone to call the hotel but confirmed that the number was not working. We stopped at the Holiday Inn concierge who called your number but explained that a "zero" needed to be added in front on the 183. He told us to go to Ingolstadt on road 13. We were still unclear and stopped to ask a taxi driver. He lead us to A92 and said to go north towards Nuremburg to Ingolstadt. After reaching Ingolstadt we realized that we were way off track. Stopped at another gas station and asked for the Police. Finding the police took at least another 30 min. in the dark. The police informed us that the hotel phone number listed on our email copy from Venere.com was indeed a FAX number. The police then provided us with a map and complete directions. We arrived a Hotel Amper Villa at 2330, 7.5 hours later! Two days later, on leaving the hotel for the airport, we asked the receptionist for directions from the hotel to the airport. She printed off a "plan" or directions on how to reach the hotel from the airport. We tried reading it backwards but the directions are not the same forwards and backwards from the airport. I went back to talk to her further and she explained with was very easy and that we make the 1 left on to the autobahn where the sigh says Stuttgart. I repeated her instructions and said that I did not understand why were would go in the direction of Stuttgart. She confirmed that it was "easy" and would take us right there. Well, it turns out that the first left to Stuttgart takes us away from Munchen airpo

Wonderful hotel located in the country. Very quiet setting. Rooms are very large and comfortable. Meals were excelent, my complements to the chef.

This hotel is too far away from munich, and also is out in the middle of nowhere. You have to take a taxi ten minutes to the nearest trainstation, just to take a train twenty minutes back to munich. It was ridiculous, and had I known how far away it was, I wouldn't have stayed.

Finding this hotel with out clear directions is very difficult. Call in advance to recieve directions.

When I made reservation I wasn't sure what to expect. I rather stay in this villa than at a Holiday Inn. 100% satisfied, and most definitely would stay again and again.
