Perfect location. Very good connection by S-bahn from the airport. Walking distance to city center.

Total weightage on all services provided by this hotel was excellent. moreover if they are start doing munich tours themself muchmore easier to visiters.

When arriving late the keys are placed in a dispenser machine, and you contact the staff using an intercom. In my case, my reservation was not in the system, so I had to wait around 40 minutes in the restaurant downstairs with a nice cold beer. No harm done, but I was really tired.

The hotel can be recommended, it only took us a while to find out where it was from the train station. It appeared, youhad to take a tram. this information would have been helpful too on the website.

Excellent price/quality relationship. Try the tavern on the ground floor of the hotel -- they have very friendly service and tasty, good value lunch menus.

Not soundproof at all, if you want to sleep, this is not the place! 20 min walk to city center, bus every 10 min. No breakfast incl. Overall ok, but wouldn't chose it again cause of the location, price and no breakfast.

I was vacationing with my husband and wanted to stay in Munich the night before our morning flight home. We had limited time so thought staying near the Deutche Museum would be good so we could get a quick tour there. The hotel is indeed close to the museum and it is a short bus ride from the historic center of Munich. In retrospect, we should have followed the hotel clerk's advice and taken the bus downtown to walk around the beautiful buildings. When we tried to drive there, it was cordoned off for a summit meeting and parking was impossible. 2 hrs is too short to tour the Deutches Museum. Hotel was nothing like the 3 star we has just come from in the Dolomites, but the price was accordingly lower. Adequate room, very helpful staff, comfortable Bavarian restaurant (seemed pricey). Other than this, our stay was too short to give an in depth evaluation.

Personel was very attentive and the location, not too far from the inner city is particurly convenient

The hotel has an excellent location, within a 15 minute to the Marienplatz. However, we were disappointed in the reception. The hotel was advertised to have parking, but when we asked about it, the front desk clerk said it was only for small cars. We had to insist on parking before he allowed us to park our car there. When we did arrive at the garage, there was plenty of parking available. The room was adequate, but noisy, even with the windows closed. There is a pub on the ground floor, and when it closed at night, the patrons were very loud. The hotel would be a fine choice for anyone aware of these issues, but I would recommend that Venere double check with them on their parking quote.

Siamo stati molto bene, nessun problema. Collegato bene con mezzi e zona tranquilla. NON esiste il parcheggio libero dato che il garage è ovviamente a pagamento e la zona attorno pure. Comunque nonostante il disguido alla fine abbiamo pagato la metà della quota dato che comunque sul sito era indicato free parking. Consigliato.

The hotel has blocked a deposit for the booking at the credit card and did not unblock cash even after having debited the full amount for stay by the check-out. Facade rooms are facing quite a busy street. Staying there you will wake up not later than at 6.00 a.m.

We found the Golden Leaf Altmunchen to be a very nice hotel with friendly staff and a fun Bavarian style restaurant on the ground floor. The location is great, in a non-touristy area with a 5 minute walk across the beautiful Isar river to Gartnerplatz with its chic cafes and reataurants (try the "Monaco" for a great Italian)_ and 10 minutes to Marienplatz. The Mariahilfkirche across the street is beautiful and chimes serenely every hour. We had a room overlooking the central court with a beautiful view of the court and a snow covered bridge and trees.
