There is a problem with the hints to reach the hotel that I received with the confirmation of my reservation. There it is recommended, in case you arrive by plane, to take S-Bahn S1, to stop at MOOSACH station and take bus 77. Unfortunately it seems there's no stop for bus 77 at MOOSACH. The most convenient option, especially in case of late arrival, would be to take a taxi (8€ 40 cts) from MOOSACH, which is not far from the hotel (this is what I did). Another possibility would be (a) to take the S1, stopping at LAIM (1 stop after MOOSACH), then (b) take the S2, direction PETERHAUSEN, stopping at OBERMENZING (1 stop) and finally (c)take bus 162, stopping at REGINBALDSTRASSE, a few meters from the hotel. To reach the center of Munich, it is convenient to take bus 162 until OBERMENZING station and then the S2, direction ERDING. The hotel is a bit isolated, in the middle of a green area, so that the indian restaurant next door is very useful!

By car
From motorway A8 (Stuttgart):
From the motorway A8 drive straight on in direction of the city centre (Verdistraße) until reaching (after the second railway underpass) an ELF service station on the left. Stay on the left lane, at the first possibility turn left, then left again and afterwards turn right. You are now on Menzinger Straße. After about 150 meters you will recognize the Edelweiß Parkhotel on the left.
By train
From the main railway station take the city train (S-Bahn) S17 in direction Amalienburgstraße. Get off at the last stop (Amalienburgstraße). Proceed by bus line 77 in direction Moosach. The bus stop in front of the hotel is Reginbaldstraße.
By airplane
From the airport take the city train (S-Bahn) S1 in direction Kreuzstraße (Höhenkirchen/Siegertsbrucn). Get off at Moosach station and reach the bus stop. Take bus line 77 direction Pasing/Amalienburgstraße. The bus stop in front of the hotel is Reginbaldstraße.
