exterior The "Bastide de Moustiers" is open throughout the winter ! In Provence, the late autumn attracts many people and in order to meet the needs of our ever-increasing clientele, Alain Ducasse's inn is now open all year long.

The dining room consists of three rooms : a large room with a period walnut fireplace, the "Salon des Faïenciers" (the Potter's Room) and the little "Salon des Amoureux" (the Lovers' Room). The first one is airy and light; the other two are more intimate, so necessary for business or tête-à-tête meals.

double room Alain Ducasse wanted each of the inn's twelve bedrooms to be not only different, but also poetic, each one evoking a colour, an aroma, an image of Provence. Thus, the rooms have been named Tournesol (Sunflower) , Lavande (Lavander) , Framboise (Raspberry) , Amande (Almond) , Potiron (Pumpkin) , Blanche (White), La Volière (The Aviary), Olive (Olive), Abeille (Bee), Rose Trémière (Rose), Coquelicot (Poppy), and Pigeonnier (Pigeon House). Right down to the tiniest object, each bedroom and en-suite bathroom has its own particular style.

How to reach Hotel La Bastide de Moustiers

Directions to La Bastide de Moustiers from Nice (2 hours):

Take the autoroute A8 heading West towards Marseille (exit N°36).
Exit at Le Muy and continue to Draguignan.
In order to avoid passing through Draguignan, when you reach a round-about with a statue of a Provençal couple dancing, follow the signs to the Industrial Zone (Zone d'Activités).
On leaving Draguignan, follow the signs for Flayosc. At Flayosc follow the signs for Salernes. On leaving Salernes, turn right, signposted Aups. On leaving Aups, turn right towards the Verdon Gorge (Les Gorges de Verdon) and Moustiers-Sainte-Marie. Just before entering Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, at the roundabout (just after the petrol station), take the exit signposted RIEZ (taking care not to enter the village). After approximately 300 metres turn left, then immediately left where the road divides in two. La Bastide de Moustiers is located on the left at the end of this road.

Directions to La Bastide de Moustiers from Marseille (1h 45): Take the autoroute A51 towards Aix-en-Provence (Exit N°17). At Aix-en-Provence remain on the A51. Follow the signs to Sisteron - Manosque. Leave the A51 at Saint-Paul les Durance - Vinon-sur-Verdon - Gréoux-les-bains. Take the D952 all the way to Moustiers-Sainte-Marie passing through: Vinon-sur-Verdon, Gréoux-les-bains, Allemagne-en-Provence, Riez, Roumoules. Just before entering MOUSTIERS-SAINTE-MARIE you will pass a petrol station on the left. At the next roundabout go straight over, taking the exit signposted Les Gorges du Verdon. After approximately 300 metres turn right, then immediately left where the road divides in two. La Bastide de Moustiers is located on the left at the end of this road.
