The rooms facing the main street are very noise at night especially over the weekends.

Rooms facing the theater are terribly noisy in weekends till 03.00 am. I had to switch to a rear room that was tiny but quieter. Staff were very qualified. Location is perfect, close to the the Jazz Festival, Old Harbor, and China Town. I would go there again.

The St Denis, was centrally located, it was within easy walking distance to lots of restaurants and other attractions. I'd definitely stay there again.

the location is a big big plus for this hotel. the quality of what you get for your money is excellent. a little bit noisy at night...but you are downtown montreal so...

Loved the room! Very large, clean and comfortable. Looked very new, like it had been renovated quite recently. The staff were very polite and helpful. 5-minute walk to Old Montreal. Excellent value for money.

We stayed four days. Location was the best we could have hoped for. Would stay there again. Much of old Montreal was easily accessible on foot and for other sights the metro was quick and reliable and also within very easy walking distance.

How to reach Hotel St-Denis
By car
From Jacques-Cartier Bridge:
After the bridge take De Lorimier Avenue. Go uphill and make a left on Sherbrooke Street. After approximately 1.5 km/0.93 miles, make a right on St. Denis Street where you will find the hotel at no. 1254.
From Pont Champlain:
Follow the indications for Downtown Montreal until you reach University Street. Follow University to Sherbrooke Street and make a right turn. After approximately 1.4 km/0.86 miles make a left on St Denis Street, where you will find the hotel at no. 1254.
From highway 40 Est (Metropolitan Blv)/Dorval Airport:
Take exit 71 Saint-Laurent/Saint-Denis. Stay on the service road for around 1.3 km/0.81 miles (follow Saint-Denis/335 South). At the fourth set of traffic lights, make a right on St Denis Street and continue to street number 1254.
From highway 40 Est:
Take exit 73 Christophe-Colomb/Saint-Hubert. Remain on the service road (Crémazie Blv) for approximately 1.3 km/0.81 miles. At the fourth traffic light, make a left turn on St Denis Street and continue to street number 1254.
From highway 20 Est:
Highway 20 will become Ville-Marie (720 east). Take the Saint-Laurent/Berri exit. On the service road, make a left turn onto Berri Street. Continue for around 1.6 km/1 mile to Roy Street and turn left. At the next traffic light turn left onto St Denis Street, where you will find the hotel at no. 1254.
