My stay was very positive. The hotel was easy to find, and the woman checking us in was very efficient and helpful. Our room was weirdly constructed with the breakers visible in one part that most likely was a closet in another life. The effect was more an oddly-shaped room than anything negative. This location is fantastic if you want to be near/around Mile End... there are wonderful shops and cafes in this area, and it's less touristy for sure. The only downside was that there was a weird clump of hair on one of the tiny hotel shampoo bottles, and a bit of the tile sealant came loose in the bathroom. Otherwise, the room was clean and very nice for this price range. The breakfast was standard continental fare. There is no lobby or other place to sit outside the hotel rooms and the breakfast area. We were very satisfied, despite the minor problems.

Go for the location, and clean rooms. Don't plan on eating breakfast here, not good breakfast at all. I would go back here, as I don't plan to spend too much time in the hotel, and this place is good for that kind of traveler. Right next to Mont Royal, and amazing food and shopping!

The location and price of the rooms were better than most of the area but it was not what I was expcting. Maybe my expectations were a bit high but the room that I got was in the basement. It was a for a single queens size bed. the room was bit empty. lots of space but bare furniture. Overall I say it was fine not to bad not the best.

The price includes a breakfast which is offered by a restaurant nearby. It takes half an hour to get the menu and another half an hour to be served. The hotel does not care about this poor service as it is provided by someone else. The airconditioning in the room is so noisy that it is impossible to sleep, opening the door/window is not a solution as the street and back street are very noisy too. There is no parking. The manager does not help with these problems.

The hotel doesn't have an elevator, and the web site did not warn customers about it.

Stayed in early July. Room was large and very clean. Beds were comfortable and the staff helpful. The location of hotel was okay. Within walking distance to downtown Montreal and a good range of restaurants. Room did not have fridge or microwave which would have been advantageous. Limited parking available and at an extra cost (approx. $20 for two days stay). Overall a good choice if you only want the bare minimum in a room.

Excellent location near Mont Royal park and walking distance to everything. A long walk to Old Montreal, but not a problem, even for the kids. Room with 2 queen beds was perfect for the 4 of us. Comfortable.Unpretentious.

When I reserved, there was no information, that taxes are not included in the price, so I was surprised by the extra 13 %, what makes it more expensive and I would not have chosen the hotel. The room was spacy, clean and very quiet, but especially with sealed window, it made me feel more like a grave. The surroundings, people running around and reception made me feel unsafe and uncomfortable. The location is central, but you have to walk a quite long distance several kms) by foot aside dark areas with strange peoples in the night.

It was quite expensive for a 3 star hotel. I've stayed in 4 star hotels who were more luxerious and cheaper than this hotel. The location was very good though. Mont Royal was very near, there were a a lot of shops around. What really bothered me was the breakfast. When we booked it was mentioned that breakfast was included. We found out that breakfast is not inside the hotel, but in a restaurant nearby. We received a ticket which was only 3 or 4 dollars worth. You could pick anything from the menu card and when it's over the 3 or 4 dollars, you have to pay the rest. It didn't even include the tax and tips.
