This hotel was perfect for my stay - a very nice, clean, well decorated room with a kitchenette! (which was perfect because I have food allergies and can't always eat out). It was more of a house made into a hotel - but it was exceptionally clean and perfect for my visit. I loved the neighborhood - so much to do! Would stay there again - adorable. Jazz club below played fantastic music I could listen to while in my room - not to worry, they don't play very late into the night. If you are looking for a quiet, quaint place away from downtown and are physically able to walk up stairs with your luggage, I recommend this hotel.

The hotel's name is actually Hotel Anne ma soeur Anne Hôtel-Studio (it means Anne my sister Anne). We were on a busy street, which was cool, hopping, but it was completely quiet in our room. The complimentary orange juice & bottled water was nice, but the croissants were nothing special. We were charged for some phone calls we had not made, but the concierge kindly removed them from our bill. There is no public place to hang out in, but I would stay there again. We were right next door to a jazz bar, so that was fun to walk to without needing our coats.

How to reach Anne ma soeur Hôtel-Studio
By carFrom the Jacques-Cartier bridge: At the exit of the bridge, take De Lorimier avenue, drive up the hill; turn left onto Sherbrooke street. After about 1.5 km/1 mile you will come to St-Denis street, turn right and you will see Anne ma soeur Hôtel-Studio after four blocks.
From Champlain bridge: Follow the directions to go down-town. You will come automatically to University street. Continue on University street all the way till you cross Sherbrooke street, turn right on Sherbrooke street. After about 1.4 km/0.9 miles you will come to St-Denis street; turn left. The hotel is four blocks ahead.
From Highway 40 East (autoroute Métropolitaine): Take the exit 71 Saint-Laurent - Saint-Denis. You will be on the service road boulevard Crémazie Continue on the service road for about 1.3 km/0.8 miles and follow the direction St-Denis- 335 South. After the fourth traffic light, turn right onto St-Denis street where you will see the Anne ma soeur Hôtel-Studio.
From Highway 40 West (autoroute Métropolitaine): Take the exit 73 Christophe-Colomb - Saint-Hubert. You will be on the service road boulevard Crémazie Continue on the service road for about 1.3 km/0.8 miles and follow the direction St-Denis- 335 South. After the fourth traffic light, turn left onto St-Denis street (make sure you're driving the 335 South) where you will see the Anne ma soeur Hôtel-Studio.
From Highway 20 East: Stay on the 20 East, go through the Ville-Marie tunnel (720 East). Take the exit Saint-Laurent-Berri. Stay on the service road and turn left on Berri street. Drive up the hill all the way to Roy street (about 1.6 km/ 1 mile) and turn left. At the next light, turn right on St-Denis street and continue straight until you see the Anne ma soeur Hôtel-Studio on your right.
