Although this hotel was quite away from the main city centre and the train station we really enjoyed our stay and wished we had booked for longer.The rooms looked as though they had recently been refurbished. This is only a 2 star hotel but we thought it was more of a 3 star hotel. There is also an excellent Vietnamese restaurant nearby where we had a wonderful meal. If we were to come back to Montpellier we would definitely stay here again.

Upscale, art-deco room, airconditioned. Hotel is a renovation of two 19th C townhomes.L ovely. Shady garden for morning coffee. On the opposite end of Montpellier from the train station so an extra 15 Euro cab ride required. Cafes and restaurants are at least a 15 min walk uphill.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were very polite and helpful, their use and understanding of English was excellent and they made us feel very much at home. The room was very comfortable, light and nicely decorated, as was the lounge. The gardens were delightful, very nice for reading etc. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to the historic town centre (resturants etc.)and is ideally situated for the SupAgro Uni. Regular bus service from the hotel to the train station. I would have no problem in recommending this hotel to others and would definately stay there again. Excellent value and deserves to have a higher rating than 2 stars.

We enjoyed our stay at Des Arceaux, very well located, our room was very pleasant a little bit crammed as we were 3 adults in one room.

Good and clean tiny Pension, in a very nice place. Good for short stay, nice inner garden for breakfast. The only problem that is usual in France they have a very nice and quiet dog that is going in and out from the kitchen.

Excellent standard, can't believe that's it's only rated 2 stars. Only problem I had (as with most mainland European accomodation), is that there is no fan in the bathroom; there is also no separate shower but stand up in the bath tub. Excellent for a couple wanting an intimate get away.

We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay. The staff were friendly and made us feel very welcome. The menu was simple but very good and we hope to stay there again.
