Hotel Acapulco offers a good service for the price. The room was old but big, clean and quiet. A good breakfast is available for 6E, and you can have it outside on the terrasse. The hotel is located in a quiet area of Montpellier, 15 mins walk from the center. There's a public underground car park nearby at 11E / 24h.

Quaint, comfortable hotel within easy walk of the historic town centre. Lovely staff (willing to converse in slow easy french with me until I ran out of words then smilingly shifted to english) Delicious traditional french breakfast. A wonderful place to stay in a beautiful city. I have already been back, I enjoy Montpellier and the Acupulco so much!

Large room but bad mattress, old hotel. Very bad quality for money. I stayed in several hotels in Montpellier and this will be my last choice for a next trip.

We stayed in several other hotels of supposedly the same standard, and this was by far the most inferior. The room was small and whole hotel was badly in need of decoration and did not meet our overall expectations. In terms of location there was not indication on web that the hotel was located in a seedier part of town with no restaurants in the immediate vicinity. The only saving grace was the fact that the hotel was located close to a tram stop which you could take to the centre of town where all such facilities were located. Overall very disappointing and not worth the money paid.

Staff were very helpful from time I called from stateside as my plane delayed and had to cancel one night, through quick arrival to drop bags to come back later to sign-in. Friendly with adequate English skills. Location near main tram stop but initially difficult to find for even taxi but once located an easy walk to main Place des Comedie.

I was on a rugby trip with 3 other lads so literally only slept in the room but we found the staff were very friendly and helpful and there was no problems with the room. The location was perfect only 15 mins pleasurable walk to the towns main square or 3 mins walk to the tram and a couple of stops to town.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Everything was nicely presented and clean. It was easy to get to the town centre from the location.

Bedroom and bathroom were clean. Small TV in the room. I didn't take breakfast at the hotel so cannot comment on it. Before arriving, the staff were very helpful and answered all my questions by email. Only saw staff when checking in though. Everything was as I would expect from a 2 star hotel for that price.

The room and breakfast were pretty basic, the TV too small really for the size of the room - and very few channels, and it took awfully long for the bath to heat up. Staff were not able to tell where in Montpellier a certain street was where I had an appointment. Other than that, staff were extremely friendly and helpful - there was even a Dutch speaking receptionist at the time!

we booked all our vacation's hotels by the Venere site and ACAPULCO has been the worst we found. It's old, without elevator even though rooms are on the first and the second floor. The rooms are too small and the air conditioning was broken.
