Chambre mal agencée, tapisserie qui se décolle, trous dans les murs, mauvaise insonorisation. Tuyau de douche qui fuit, rideau sale. Glace dans la salle de bain trop basse, doit se plier en 2 pour s'y voir... Sinon situation plutôt calme car fenêtre donnant sur une cour intérieure, mais voisins bruyants 1 nuit sur les 3.

the only common point this place has with an hotel is the name. Dirty, noisy, tiny room (around 9 sqm, as comfortable as a cupboard); not even a mirror in the bathroom, hot water only, except during the shower.

Excellent location right in the centre of the town, on a tram route and in easy walking distance of the main real station. The hotel looks great on the outside, the reception, lobby / breakfast room and staff (although laid back) are all fine. It was such a shame therefore, that the room completely spoilt the experience - bunk bed with foam matress, no proper pillows, no lampshades, light fittings hanging off the ceiling, decorations not finished, no wardrobe / hanging space or drawers, shower not working properly, no toiletries, the list goes on. I was so glad I was only there for one night. For the price I paid I expected basic facilities only, but not an absolute disgrace.

This hotel should not even be rated with 1 star. We used the hotel purely due to the convenience of the location (only 100 metres from the train station) for a short overnight stay between train times. We were expecting it to be basic due to the cheap cost €57 however were shocked by the room. The bed was steel bunk beds with no pillows just material wrapped up in the bottom sheet. The shower piping was exposed in the dirty bathroom, the towels provided had stains which looked like blood on them, we heard noise from every other room and from the corridor for the entire night. We would not recommend this hotel to anyone for any reason at all.

Hostel is very very simple - bed, bathroom, a vary small and old TV and an very old furniture. Only for sleeping. No fun.

I had to find a cheap hotel somewhere in the city centre to stay for one night before I can travel to my destination, and Hotel Abasun was the perfect choice! It is in the best location, in the heart of the city, 3 minutes from the train station, and the price was really economic. The staff was very kind and helpful, and they speak English. Although the room was quite small, even for one person, although there was a double bed in it, but in this case for me it was not a problem. So I can recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a hotel with reasonable prices and in a central location.

Very good location to public transport expect airport bus. If you have early flight and more than one in the group take a taxis. The staff when very friendly and for a European hotel it was a good value for money for one or two people. I had a triple room which was a bunk bed with a double on the bottom and a single up top, if three of you in the room it would have been too small.

The bathrooms are strange...not delimitation between shower and toilet...was kind of weird taking a shower.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! it is an insult to the word 'Hotel'..we questioned whether this was really a superior room, before we even inspected the bathroom...we were asked to pay as soon as we arrived, BIG MISTAKE!! the shower was unuseable, the glass shower door was held together with tape, the door was held shut with a nail!! we asked for another room, & declined when we saw it, we asked for a refund & it was suggested we speak to the manager in the morning...after a coffee cup of cereal, enjoyed from a teaspoon & warm milk from the coffee machine, we complained to the Kray twins on reception, who advised we write to the owner, his name, 'the boss', we don't hold out much hope of a refund, little more than from the tourist office, who give this tip a 2 star rating because it was 'clean'...again, sleep on the street, or in your car, but DO NOT STAY HERE

The location of the hotel is perfect, next to the center, the tram, the train station. The breakfast is not worth its price as far as quality is concerned, but for the quantity it is ok. You should not have too many expectations for the hotel itself, it is simple, discreet and cheap but to visit Montpellier or have a rest before taking the train it is perfect.

Great location! A friend and I stayed in Montpellier for a weekend. By staying in this hotel you can go out until very late at night and then return to your room walking (even being a girl!). The rooms aren't great though.

The Hotel is fairly old and the building is in a bad condition. There are new tubes for water and heating but the holes in the walls are not closed, we could see the light outside. We used the room only for the night, so we didn't mind, but the room wasn't inviting at all. However it was clean and the bed was OK.

That was the worst excuse for a hotel I have ever had the displeasure of visiting. We stayed in a "superior room". I understand that it was inexpensive, however, it was rated with two stars on Venere, usually indicating acceptable accomodations. I would not give it any stars, as it is in worse condition than a hostel. I would have left and found other accomodations if I had not arrived so late and planned on leaving so early. I refused to shower there. Even the towels (which looked like they were stolen, not purchased) were stained. If I were Venere, I would remove this "hotel" from the site. It is entirely misrepresented.
