Hotel Prestige - Montesilvano

The Breakfast started 8am, 7am would have been much better for us. Otherwise - everything was super.

Stayed in a triple, july 2008. Great hotel. Private balcony with sea view. Everything as it should be. Parking available for free in the streets around the hotel. 100mt from private beach, which is free if you stay for min 4 nights. Very helpful guy at the beach service. Sky sat. TV with english audio, great for us who do not speak much italian. Internet connection OK.

Friendly, quiet, well located for a seaside vacation.

Staff were quite accomodating, recommending places to eat, visit and making reservations for us. The beach is only 1 block away. The free parking was great to have (quite tiny, though). Room was nice and pleasant. There's entertainment for the kids at night - we didn't take advantage since we were always pooped after a long day to sight-seeing. Highly recommend this place if you're in the area of Pescara. Easy access to freeways.

If you have a car and you’re looking for an inexpensive place to stay near Pescara and near the beach, Hotel Prestige is a good deal. For 65 euros a night, our room was clean and modern, everything worked, and there was free internet in the room (if you bring your own laptop and DSL cord). We had an enormous balcony from which you could see the ocean, although it was a couple of blocks away. Breakfast was basic, but the lobby was attractive and there are tables out on the sidewalk to enjoy drinks or a game of cards. Parking was free and easy. Since we stayed only one night, we did not try the beach, but there seemed to be many places with chairs and umbrellas for rent. Hotel Prestige is near the south end of a long strip of large beach hotels – there are a few restaurants and shops, but not much else within walking distance.

This hotel appears to be in the final stages of a major renovation; not everything is finished. Our room had some unfinished areas around door frames and windows as did public areas. This did not detract from our stay, but we were there off-season when the rates were very low. The hotel needs to be finished before the rates go up in-season. Parking is limited, beach is close as are good restaurants, but a car is almost a must because public transportation might not be the best way to travel in this area. Breakfast was typical basic buffet. Free wireless internet available in the lobby and some rooms on lower floors. Some staff helpful, others indifferent. Good value off-season, not sure if we'd stay here again.
