Good clean hotel and good value for price. Location is slightly uphill from the train station and because we had two large suitcases each this meant lots of sweat before we arrived at the reception check in. Once in everything was OK.

This was the MOST expensive stay during our trip. This property was about double the cost of other properties we enjoyed in Italy.

Very nice hotel, 2 minute uphill walk from main part of town and railway station. Clean, spacious room. Nice bathroom. Good breakfast. Lift available. Directions confusing - there are no traffic lights in Monterosso! Turn left down main street from railway station, then take first street on the right. Walk under railway bridge, then through gates on right and up pathway.

The hotel grounds have not been maintained at all. What could have been charming was, at best, drab. Our room smelled of insecticide but we had ants anyway. Good breatfast. Compared to other hotels we had stayed in while in Italy this was not a good value.

Villas Accini was very well located about a hundred metres from the town and beach and only a short walk to the railway station. It was an ideal base for exploring the Cinque Terre. Although the walk up the driveway was moderately steep, this was not a significant problem even with heavy luggage. The only criticism was the noise levels as trains as they frequently travelled through the town. Although the double glazed windows reduced the noise somewhat when closed, it was still very hard to get used to, particularly early in the morning.

A little bit disappointing given the price that we paid for our rooms. Not the most welcoming of hotels but clean, comfortable and in a very handy location for Monterosso new town.

We thought it was expensive for the quality of the room, but we found the Cinque Terre hotels to be more expensive in general.
