Hotel More di Cuna - Monteroni d'Arbia

My second time at the hotel, convenient location for visiting a lot of places in Toscana Very welcoming and competent staff, very good breafast No things to do in the immediate surroundings, but if you have a car it is very good value

This hotel does not have a spectacular location. It is by a local road, nothing much else in the neighborhood, but it is close to Siena, and a very good base for tours all over Tuscany. The building is very pleasant, espescially inside, but there is also a nice garden outside the breakfast area. The staff was very welcoming, very helpful, they spoke french and english very well, and were happy to help with recommendations, tips and information. My room was spacious and very nicely designed. The room and the public areas were neat and clean. The breakfast was excellent, one of my better hotelbreakfasts in Italy! Since the hotel is located quite a long way from other restaurants, you might want to eat in the adjacent restaurant/ osteria. That would not be a bad choice! Very good food. An alternative is the more atmospheric "La Galera" in "the centre" of Monteroni, 2 km south of the hotel. Very good food, very nice to sit in the garden in the back. I would definitely reccomend More di Cuna as a base for exploring Tuscany if you want a pleasant, comfortable, quiet and NOT EXPENSIVE alternative to finding a place inside one of the towns. I doubt you will get better value for money any other place.

Buses to Sienna on route 002 run every 30 minutes and cost 1.10 Euros. Restaurant next door was superb. Also close to Montalcino & Pienza.

This is a beautiful, charming, clean hotel with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were very comfortable and the breakfasts were exceptional. The staff never seemed to tire of our requests for additional cappuccinos which were delicious. It is in a very quiet area so there is not much to do near the hotel itself but it serves as an excellent base for day trips by car to Siena, Montalcino, Montepulciano, and the Chianti region. I would highly recommend a stay at More di Cuna.

El sitio es excelente. El personal muy muy amable y siempre con ganas de ayudar y recomendar millones de sitios. Nosotros estuvimos alojados unos dias y desde alli con el coche visitamos siena, montepulciano, pienza y algunas termas.

A fantastic hotel, new modern interior with old world exterior, set in a Tuscan hill country setting. Spacious, quiet, comfortable rooms and a fantastic breakfast every morning. The staff was very friendly and helpful offering lots of useful information for exploring the Tuscany medieval hill towns.

Ideal for a short stopover due to the proximity to main roads.Riccardo the manager and all of the staff were very welcoming helpful and full of local information.Very characterful building and the adjacent restauraunt was a bonus with very good food. We will definately use it again.

Nel complesso giudizio positivo, comodo per visitare Siena. Colazione ottima ed abbondante, personale molto gentile e disponibile. Da segnalare che nelle ore notturne vi è la completa assenza di personale dell'hotel. L'hotel si trova lungo una strada di grande comunicazione.

Very nice place away from everything. so as long as you have a car, you'll be fine. Easy to drive to surrounding cities. the attached restaurant was very good. hallways noise of closing doors, but a lot better than other places we've stayed at. Good breakfast w/ good variety. Overall a nice hotel and would stay there again.

I stayed in Hotel More di Cuna with my wife and son (1 year old). People was the kindest staff I have ever met. Hotel is located near Siena, close to all the touristic area in Toscana (Siena, Chianti, Val d'Orcia, Val d'Elsa...). I strongly recommend it.
