We stayed only one night on our way through Tuscany and wished we could have stayed longer. We arrived late because of an accident to one of our party and could not have been made more welcome. The owner escorted us to a lovely Trattoria in the village where we enjoyed one of the best meals we had experienced. Many thanks for a brief but memorable experience.

After an initial wait outside the hotel, due to the concierge having been called away on urgent business, the remainder of my short stay at Mille Miglia was excellent. Friendly and competent staff, really helpful with things like local knowledge of facilities, equipment for the room, and a real desire to please, made my stay a memorable one,and I would recomment the hotel to anyone seeking a reasonably priced stay in that region.

A quite simple hotel from the outside, in a not-so-cosy surrounding. But inside the rooms are excellent: clean, big enough, nice bathroom, and (really important) thick walls and doors. I would surely recommend this hotel to anyone who would like to stay in the vicinity of Siena.

It was our (my sister and I) the second time at the hotel, so you can see we like it very much. It's a family run hotel and Vitorio, the owner is superb, as is his wife and daughter. The hotel is simple but clean, well kept. The rooms are spacious (at least those we stayed), quite and the family is very helpfull and friendly (mainly at this second time, once we already knew each other). We had a very happy and warm welcome! The city (Monteroni D'Arbia) is small but very handy if you have a car and want to explore Toscana (the hotel has a free parking). Thak you very much Vitorio! Be sure we'll return to your hotel once being in Italy!

Advise that the client needs to ask previous to breakfast. The information about location could be more clear saying that after arrives in Monteroni d'Arbia in the main street turn on left at Cassia Sud 2. Well located to know toscania and the wineries at Montalcino, Montepulciano and Chianti regions.

The hotel was exactly as described. It was about a 10 minute walk into the village along an unlit road which needed some care. The village itself had two nice resaurants which were unfortunately both closed, (avoid Mondays if you want al a carte) but other options were available. The Mille Maglia is a family run hotel and very friendly for it. The breakfast was standard fare but non the worse for that being fresh and plentiful. The double room was modern and comfortable.

Our one night stay at this hotel was a lovely experience highlighted by the incredible hospitality of the host. We arrived late in the evening after travelling over 14 hours. The host called ahead to one of the few restaurants in this village to indicate that we required a meal. Breakfast was hearty compared to other places we stayed in Europe. This is an excellent location for those travelling through Tuscany on their way to Siena (20 minutes) or to the many wine regions. Thank you for a wonderful, but brief stay.

Very nice people! Very clean and tidy rooms with floor airco system, so no noisy airco buzzing at night ;) All interesting places in Tuscany and Umbria (like Siena, Chianti, Crete, Orvieto) within reach. Insider tip: Ristorante IL PONTE at Ponte d'Arbia (only 10 km south of Hotel MM)

the Hotel sing did not read "Mille" it read "1000." The staff had limited English, but were very helpful and recommended a great resturant. We could not use our phone cards with their system. The towels were not very absorbent.

If you want to be in Monteroni D'arbia, you can't beat Mille Miglia. The facilities are very good for a three star. But by far ,the best part is Vittoria and the service he provides.
