Room had been fairly recently remodeled as had the outside of the motel. Didn't see other rooms. Only complaint was the bathroom smelled of mildew. A comfortable armchair by the fireplace would have been a nice addition.

The Sunset Inn was a beautiful. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable and inviting. I will definitely stay at the Sunset Inn again. The price was comfortable however if as a guest I stayed at this hotel multiple times a discount would be a great way to welcome frequent returnees. The only draw back was the parking. It was very limitied.

Stayed for 2 nights in a single room with king size bed. Awesome fireplace with a flat screen TV mounted above it. Nice cozy rooms, friendly staff, and a great place to go. I'll be keeping the Sunset Inn in mind if I go to Pacific Grove or Monterey and I would definitely recommend it!

Sunset Inn was lovely. The decor was very attractive. The gas fireplace was so nice to have on a rainy weekend. Location is great! We recommend it and will return. Barbara was very helpful.

It is so wonderfully situated near the ocean, the butterfly sanctuary and Monterey. We left a bag behind and they managed to send it to us which was beyond their call of duty and was greatly appreciated. The concierge was relaxed and made us feel welcome. I have already recommended Sunset to several friends. I will go back.
