L'Ottava Hotel - Montecompatri, Frascati

Our hotel, L’Ottava, is a brand new facility nearby Rome, open since 1999 looking for new business and offering itself to Tour operators worldwide. (we are rated three stars plus).

We are located 30’ from downtown, in a sunny green area just on the outskirt of Rome, in a valley surrounded by vineyards and olives, overlooking the city, a renowed wine and historic area known as Castelli Romani. Train station is located 800 metres from the hotel and it takes only a 20 minutes – ride from here to Termini station and downtown Rome.. Ciampino airport is 20 km away and Fiumicino “Leonardo da Vinci” is 40 km away (special taxi rate from/to available on request to hotel guests).

We are only 2,5 km from the highways heading to/from North (Milan, Bologna, Florence) or South ( Naples). All around us the Castelli Romani, with several tourist attractions: Frascati and the magnificent Villas of the Roman Noblety, the Nemi lake and its famous berries greenhouses, Castelgandolfo with the summer residence of Pope John Paul II and the lake, Palestrina and its renowned archaeological museum, Tivoli and the famous Villa Adriana, former mansion of Emperor Adriano and the sight and sounds of Villa d’Este with fountains and gardens…. Golf courses (2) in 20’ time.

We dispose of 31 rooms, (total beds number: 60) all lavishly furnished, including a private bathroom complete of shower stall, hair dryer, disposables.

In every room mini bar fully equipped with beverages, colour TV, direct phone.

Some rooms are provided with a balcony overlooking the valley of Rome at the distance…in clear days you can easily track the outline of St Peter’s Cathedral!!

The hotel includes a restaurant (open to the public) that can seat 160 guests and is particularly suited for banquets, wedding receptions, gala dinners and special occasions.

A covered Gallery, that in summer time can open totally to the typical “ Ponentino” cooling breeze, hosts the Pizzeria and a sundeck with a bar.

Another bar is located in the reception area and a walled private garden, equipped with deckchairs and children playground so to provide the guests with leisure and relax.

A Congress Room, for up to 400 persons, fully equipped with technical appliances, is located in the basement floor, complete with secretariat room, toilets, access indipendent from the hotel lobby.

A private parking lot is open to individual cars and coaches. Special rates for groups, Companies, special seasonal offers.
