If you are under 40 years of age i would not recomend this hotel(very dull)We stayed here on a stop over hoping we could use the swiming pool(30 europer person)the web page did not say it was a special pool!!overall it was very average...

By car - A1 highway, Parma exit.
513 state street to Traversetolo: near Pilastrello, turn left at the crossroads to Monticelli Terme.
Or Via Emilia (SS. 9) to Bologna: pass San Prospero, and follow the road signs to Monticelli Terme on the right.
By bus - From Parma. City bus n. 6 every hour: info tel. 0521/282657.
From Reggio Emilia (via Montecchio Emilia or S. Ilario d'Enza), from Rolo and Reggiolo: info tel. 0522/927611.
By train - Parma station. City bus n. 6 (to Monticelli Terme); the bus stop is in the square right outside the train station.
By airplane- Airports: Parma G. Verdi, 14 km; Bologna G. Marconi, 80 km; Milano Linate, 100 km; Milano Malpensa, 140 Km.
Parma and its surroundings
The Terme di Monticelli complex is only 10 Km away from Parma, with one of the highest quality of life in Italy. It is extremely easy to reach even with the public transport. Parma is a city of arts, of lyrical music fans and good cuisine: this is Verdi's land, where the Teatro Regio offers an important programme for lyrical music. In 2001, Verdi's Celebrations will offer a very rich programme with music and plays in Parma and all over its province.
