The hotel has been restructured recently and comes up to all your requirements: a peaceful area with a central position, at walking distance from a large park and the Thermal resorts. There is not much english spoken but one of the waitress and the owners son speaks good english. The meals at the hotel are excellent. Drinks at the bar are very good and the newly appointed garden is nice. If the hotel used the other bar nearer to the garden at night would have more guest drinking there.

we stayed for 4 nights in Monticatini Terme. it was hot and humid when we stayed in late May 2007. Shops are expensive mostly designer ranges. Resaurants good. We found it noisy at night.The reason being 2 prostitutes worked outside our window every night from about 12.00p.m 05.00a.m not good for the hotel. But the hotel food and hospitality was very good.

The service was fantastic. The food excellent. They also provide dinner if you like. This is a family run hotel and they are wonderful. It is in a great location easy walking distant to the spa's and down town. This is a place to go to for relaxing and healthing.

Hotel Montebello is a lovely family run hotel with the most friendly staff we have ever met, always willing to help. The evening meals are out of this world, very high quality food cooked to perfection. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely go back.

Hotel Montebello was a great accomodation for us, we only had to stay one night for a congress in Montecatini and the hotel had everything we needed: it was clean, quiet, and the employees were really kind. I would not recommend it for a long staying though,because the bathroom was quite small and the shower only a hole in the floor with a tiny curtain around. For what we payed I am perfectly happy anyway.

Good facility in a good location. Very nice town. Parking accross the street extra. We will stay in Montecatini Alta next time, a delightful little town above the valley with great views.

For me and my wife was this the first stop in our trip to visit Toscane. Hotel Montebello is excellent to visit Montecatini Terme and a part of Toscane. All the other visitors were older than us but it was no problem, it was nice to stay among them. Thanks to the owners of Hotel Montebello, they helped us when it was asked and they gave us nice tips to travel through Toscane.
How to reach Hotel Montebello
Montecatini Terme is a pleasant city in Tuscany well reachable by any means of transport. In fact it's just in the middle of two airports: the first one is the "Amerigo Vespucci" in Florence and the second one is the "Galileo Galilei" in Pisa respectively 45 and 55 Km far away. It has an own exit on the motorway called Firenze-Mare and also two well served railway stations. Our Hotel is not so far from the motorway's exit and very close to the railway station and to the center of the city.
The Hotel Montebello is very close to all these facilities but at the same time is situaded in a very quite zone of the thermal city. From the motorway's exit it's very easy to reach us. You have to go straight and you will arrive on a superelevate. At the end of it you'll find a lights. Go straight again and take the seventh street on the right called Via Trieste, just a little before of another lights.
After via Trieste you'll arrive to a place with a park-garden in the centre. At the end of this place you will find on the left side the Hotel Montebello. There are many possibilities to park your car; you can choose if you want the attended car-park of the Hotel. If you arrive by railway, you can take a taxi , all day at disposal, and in only 5 minutes you will be at our Hotel.
