We were surprised by the room we had, on the third floor, very spacious, stunningly furnished, with really big bath room. The view from the room was really surprise to us while available at two direction either at city center or at the old city of Montecatini on the hill. Location of hotel in the park offers quiet surrounding but is still close to the city center (5 min.). Service at the hotel was good, we were offered breakfast directly at the park in front of the hotel. It was spectacular especially early in the morning. Breakfast is rich, salami, cheese, egg and so. And a great coffe too. On our next visit this hotel is our No. 1.

A top-notch 3 star hotel with a warm atmosphere. Excellent location adjacent to park and a short walk from the town centre.

Very enjoyable stay .The hotel is in a pleasant and quiet position with easy access to Terme Tettuccio and the town centre.Our bedroom was high and quiet with good views up to Montecatini Alto. The staff and management were all friendly and helpful and efficient. The half board facility was good value for money. We would happily return. Montecatini is a restful town and we particularly enjoyed visits to Terme Tettuccio where we were able to relax in the open air and appreciate the music.The town is on the main railway line with good and easy links to Florence and Lucca.

Sad, depressing furnishings, lighting. Very 50's. Possibly the noisiest room I've slept in since I've been travelling in Europe. The staff is very kind and accommodating, but for me, that didn't make up for the drabness and noise level.

We LOVED the Mediterraneo! The staff were so wonderful, the food was great and the room was perfect. Very nice, updated bathroom and it was great to be able to use the pool at their sister hotel, Astoria, just a short walk away. If you stay here, have dinner included with your room; it's well worth the price! Note that even though Montecatini Terme is written up as a "spa" town, there is actually only one spa (where you can get massages) and the rest are mineral springs where you can go and drink the water (not soak in it; in fact, the only in town soaking pool - Grotta? was closed so check into it before coming here). However, its a very peaceful, relaxing town. We stayed 2 days to rejuvenate after tiring of traveling non-stop.
