Hotel Ercolini e Savi - Montecatini Terme

Hotel is difficult to find by car and parking facilities are bad, however the daily parking ticket offered by the hotel at Eur 3,- per day for public parking in the blue zones is acceptabel alternative. Hotel has no a la carte restaurant in italien style, luckily there are sufficient restaurants within walking distance. Refurbishment of the hotel exterior is certainly advisable. Hotel is a recommendable stay for trips in the area.

PERFECT RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN PRICE/QUALITY

Prima volta nel luogo e nell'albergo che si è rivelato davvero una gradita sorpresa. Niente rumori molesti come indicato in alcune recensioni, bensì camera spaziosa e pulizia perfetta. Il personale è stato davvero gentile e disponibile per qualsiasi informazione sia stata richiesta e la cortesia assolutamente degna di nota (una cosa che si trova raramente). Le stanze sono confortevoli e spaziose e la posizione dell'hotel è proprio nel centro città, vicino a tutti i punti di interesse turistici e alla via dello shopping. Si è rivelato una scelta assolutamente azzeccata.

The hotel was splendid, the breakfast great, the beds very good. Only missing the swimmingpool. It was great!!!!

We are from Ireland and the room was booked by our Australian relation with whom we were travelling. I can sincerly recommend this hotel when in the area. It was very handy by train to Florence without the car hassels. We strolled to the local shops, markets and resturants. The ambience of the town and especially the hotel was beutiful and we will stay again when in this part of Italy.

A good quality hotel with efficient respectful staff, from reception to meals to housekeeping. It was a pity there was no hotel parking available and I don't recall the webstite pointing this out. However, the reception staff were very helpful with the regulations for street parking and assisted in advice together with the issuing of a low cost parking permit. The hotel is well placed for a stroll around the township, markets and the local rail station which we used to travel to and from Florence again at a reasonable fare. Breakfast was a feast and left nothing to want. Montecatini Terme was a realy nice town and Montecatini Alto, a high medieval village reachable by car or special 'cable car' type train made an interesting visit. We will certainly book there again when in the area as we know we will receive a great reception, good service and comfortable rooms.

Very poor room, dirty walls. Poor breakfast. Described as a very beautiful hotel, in my opinion is just a poor accomodation. I'd not recommend
