Suggest better direction to get to hotel from the railway station as we have to walk about 400-500mm to the hotel. Hotel location is great, next to spa center and night bazaar markets.

Lovely hotel for a good price. Helpfull and friendly staff. If you stay there in the summer, it's a pity they don't have a swimmingpool at the hotel itself.

Montecatini Terme is a spa town. There are a number of spas in the area including the main one which is directly opposite this hotel. Think more of modern spa facilities though than sitting in rocky outdoor sulphur pits. If that's what you are after you'll need to look elsewhere. We booked the night before arriving and I believe we must have got last minute rates as the advertised prices in the hotel were much higher than the price we got. I wouldn't have been happy to pay full price which was over 200 euros (we paid well under 100). The hotel was clean plus the staff were friendly and helpful. The town has a cruel one-way system so if you are driving I'd advise planning directions first. We were pleasantly surprised by the amount of nightlife for what appeared to be a smaller town. We only stayed for a single night but we certainly enjoyed it.

The hotel was had good price/quality value but we did only pay 69 Euro a night. But considering it is a 4 star hotel I would have expected better attention to detail. The bed was great. The breakfast was tasteless and stale. The coffee awful - worst italian coffee I have ever drunk.

The Hotel staff need to be taught hotel ettiqute. Being served breakfast first thing in the morning by a waiter with a grumpy face was not pleasant. Also when one puts up a DO NOT DISTURB sign on the door - one still has several knocks on the door asking if the room needs cleaning. Smoking in the corridors was not what one expected! Everytime someone flushed the toilet on the upper floor it seemed that the water would come through the ceiling! Sound profing of rooms and doors was quite poor. one could hear entire conversations on the street despite outer shutters, glass window and wooden shutter being closed and also able to hear all conversation in the corridors. Overall i dont think it should be rated as 4 star hotel!!!

If somebody is looking for hotel for family - this is bad choise. I have ordered two interconnectedd rooms, but unfortunately when we have arrived to the hotel we got only two separated rooms!!! (the ordered rooms we got only from the next day) And when I have spoke with hotel's representative several hours before arrival, nobody was informed me about it. From other hand in these two interconected rooms both beds were twin, so if you have two children - you have a trouble. For me this hotel is ereased from the memory - I hate the untruth.

We booked a triple room. It was a pleasant and quiet room, but appeared to be more of a double room with a portable cot. Only room problem was a very moldy shower. Front desk staff was competent, friendly and helpful, much better than the waiters at the breakfast room. The overall quality of the breakfast deteriorated over the course of our five days at the Grand Tettuccio. We used the minibar once and we were charged an incredible 18 Euros for two soft drinks at checkout. Guests should be aware of this send-off scam.

Giudizio personale NEGATIVO!!!!

Our stay was very satisfactory. So I am only mentioning here what was not as good as the rest and should be improved. The quality of breakfast was awful. Half an hour after start time there was very little left and in a miserable condition. Breakfast staff were unhelpful (while the rest of the staff were very helpful and courteous, including room and car park staff). Lunch and dinner menus were very limited and unappealing, so we did not use the restaurant. Quiteness was disturbed at night by the noise of singing and dancing, and by the Festa dell'Unità.

The hotel is located very close to the downtown area (5 min walk). The staff were very friendly, but I wish they offered more information about places of interest in the area, recommened restaurants, etc. Breakfasts were womderful, and the wait staff very attending and polite. I would definitely recommend this place.

The hotel is lovely and the little spa town sweet for a short break. In summer it would benefit from a pool or arranged access to another hotel's pool. The only 'downside' was that because of two large tours being in residence we were asked to eat breakfast in quite a dingy room - away from the groups we did look like second class guests

My husband, two friends and I took a short pre Xmas break at this hotel. We know Montecatini Terme well and have passed the hotel on many occasions and commented on how nice it looked from the outside. We chose it specifically this time for its location to shops, buses, and trains. We had a front facing double bedroom of a reasonable size and well furnished. We were particularly impressed by the standard of housekeeping, bedlinen and towels replaced every day. We felt we had an exceptionally good deal with Venere, and hopefully will return again

At 50 euros per night for a 4 star hotel in a beautiful Italian town, we can't complain! My only criticism (and I would say this of most Italian hotels except Holiday Inn) was the bed. It was like a board and it didn't do much for a night's sleep. Maybe it's me, but Holiday Inn set the standard for beds.

I had made 2 reservations, 1 for a single room and the second for a double room. When we arrived, they had no record of the single room reservation, and wound up giving us 2 twin rooms which were very small and uncomfortable. After discussing our dislike for the rooms, the desk clerk who was named Serena, put us into 2 double rooms. (she was very nice, most of the rest of the staff was not) The rooms that we were given were similar to the rooms that are pictured on the website. The original rooms that we were given were consistant to a 3rd rate pensione. If we had been given the secondary rooms upfront, there would not have been a problem, as this was the quality we expected. Otherwise the hotel was fine, and location was great.

This was an excellent place to stay on a B& B basis. The rooms were very good, the breakfast and service was excellent and the staff were friendly. The location of the hotel ln in a quiet area of the town, but close to resturants and bars was excellent and provided secure car parking facilities. It was an ideal location for visiting all of the major sites in Tuscany. My party of four would reccommend this hotel as good value.

on sundays, its hard to reach the hotel by car, as the center of montecatini is closed, also the map on the homepage is wrong. hotel and breakfast are perfect, the house has a lot of charm. the staff is perfectly friendly and we want to thank each of them for their support, when we had some trouble with our car.
