Hotel Baia d'Argento - Porto Santo Stefano, Monte Argentario

A pity that Google have two hotels with the same name in different places on Monte Argentario.

Very nice room and welcoming staff at the reception. Beautiful view, although a busy road separates the hotel from a not so great beach. Restaurant catered only to a group in the evening (fixed menu) so we had to go out again for dinner.

Excellent rooms, excellent view on the bay, good service, good breakfast.Interesting surroundings, but not very easy to find good restaurants.

The hotel was nicely furnished and clean. I had read reviews about the noise from the highway in front, but didn't realize how bad it was. With no air-conditioning and being hot,we had to leave the door overlooking the ocean open. Since that was our first night after no sleep for 36 hrs, even that wasn't enough to ignore the hiway noise. Should have picked the backside. Not convenient to anything unless you have a car.

It has been an excellent experience, I will use Venere.com for other reservations for its reliability and I will come back to Hotel Baia d'Argento again.

Excellent Service, friendly staff. Location on a very bussy road was not mentioned in the description. Also not that the beach is quite small and public and that there is this extremly bussy road just between the small beach and the Hotel.

Excellent accomodation and service. Only slight problem, the busy main road between the hotel and the beach.
