I was in Monopoli for my friend's wedding. I stayed in the self contained apartment. It was clean and very spacious. I loved it, I am going back in November. I will stay at the Hotel Clio again.

there was no taxis from station and got lost walking to my hotel. I only stayed 1 night and it smelled of smoke. My main problem with the hotel was the noise throughout the night. no one answered reception so I got dressed and went won to complain. Apparently there was a group of students staying and i was told that the teacher would be informed of the noise. I asked if I could be moved to a quieter room and was told no. the noise continued all night. I complained the following morning and wasn't pleased with the response. I was able to get a lift from hotel to the train station and I would not stay there again or recommend hotel.
