We had requested a quiet room after our long flight from the United States and they were most accomodating. Since we just stayed overnight, the next day the staff allowed us to leave our luggage there after checking out in order to tour around Monaco. The only disappointment was it was advertised as right near the train station, and one entrance was near, but you had to walk clear back to the center of town to buy the tickets. Overall, we would recommend this hotel to friends.

The hotel was well placed for seeing the sights of Monaco. The staff were extremely helpful and spoke excellent English (French and Italian too!). The room itself was a bit tired but very comfortable. The restaurant was informal and served excellent pizza and pasta dishes for a very reasonable price - again the staff here were very friendly and helpful. The only real downside was the building site next door which meant a lot of noise during the day although it did stop around 6pm, and no work was done on Saturday and Sunday at all.

A nice hotel within walking distance of the harbour. Room was clean and large enough for a one night stay. Breakfast was typical french croisant and coffee. Staff were very helpful but outside Monaco this would be a very expensive stay.

Un hotel con buena decoración, muy agradable el trato de su personal. La habitación muy limpia y el hotel en el centro de la pequeña ciudad.

The hotel manager was excellent, he went out of his way to obtain train information for our next journey. He passed the information onto his colleague who was just as diligent. A lot of hotels should do a training day at Ambassador Monaco! The hotel was brilliant and great value for money.

For a cheap, quiet, place to stay in Monaco, located very close to the harbour and shops, this hotel is ideal. The amenities are, however, very basic and the hotel is looking 'tired'.

Great hotel, easy to find with satnav, staff very helpful, room was massive with two bathrooms, lot was more like a suite than just a room, best to find hotel and unload luggage before parking as it's a way to walk with cases, will go back,,,,,

Value for money this Hotel in heart of Monaco is excellent. We disembarked a cruise and needed accomodation for a night before catching a train to Paris. Hotel was walking distance to train station so very handy.Adjoining restaurant was also excellent. Staff were all extremely obliging and friendly. We would have no hesitation in booking this Hotel for a longer stay in the future.

Hotel reception staff & restaurant breakfast staff were fantastic, great knowlegde of English and always smiling and welcoming. Our only disappointmnet was the restaurant manager, one night we decided to have dinner in the hotel restaraunt only to be told that as they had a group booking we would have to come back in two hours, we were even refused room service. Very poor that a restaurant could not cope with an additional 2 covers on top of a group.

Brilliant location, really good price for a hotel in Monte Carlo, clean, tidy hotel. I have been here twice now and would definitely stay again and definitely recommend to anyone travelling to Monaco. You can walk to centre in 5 minutes. Complimentary continental style breakfast. Friendly helpful staff. Stayed in Monaco for 3 days. Bus from airport drops you outside hotel.

Nice hotel in a good location. If driving can be difficult to find. Parking is in a public underground garage across the street which the hotel gives you a discounted rate for.

The Hotel was not the maximum you may expect! The rate price/quality is considerably too high for the place but, if you think you're in Montecarlo and quite nearby the centre, it is not so unfair!

the Ambassadoer Monarco was ok, the staff were very friendly & most helpful, the room was ok, although we wouldn't want to stay for a long period there, a few days no more, breakfast was average, pleased we visited Monarco though it's definatly a place to see, even if only for a days

The landscape from the room was... a building under construction!! However the hotel is located near everything you want in Montecarlo. There is also a parking with a special price of € 7.00/day. The room had a little free space and the bathroom was not the maximum. The hotel offered a special price for the dinner with a discount of 10%, but we ate in another restaurant. We had many problems to find the hotel using the map downloaded from the site.

I was travelling with my three daughters and we were given a family room which was twice the size of a typical hotel room and we had two spacious baths, one with a jucuzi. We had an beautiful view of the Royal Palace from our balcony. The property was quite nice. The restaurant manager'maitre'de deserves a special mention because he was charming and attentive. The food was very good too.

A nice hotel - the staff were welcoming and nothing was too much trouble but make sure that if you arrive in Monte Carlo by train, to get out at the correct Railway exit. We got out at the port exit and had to walk uphill with heavy cases and it was our honeymoon! In fairness this is not the hotels fault but yes a nice place and right beside the steps to the cathedral.

The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The rooms are small, which is usual by French standards, but clean and had all facilities required. Rooms 48+49 are at the back, overlooking the harbour, thus quieter ( and a better view); along with another room these two are n a small corridor on its own - would be ideal for a small group. We would return.

Nice Hotel in the Center, close to everything: Port, Prince Palace etc.! Also the Sub-Parking Garage very close (50m), and only 7 EUR/24h (Hotel-Guest-Conditions). But there was a big contruction site, opposite the Hotel - of course this is temporary. Nice to have Breakfast in the Gallery with big open windows! The Guy at the Reception (we don't rem. the name) told us many things about MonteCarlo, and showed all this in the city map - excellent service!

The hotel was not as close to the center of things like the Casino as I had thought, and was directly across the street from the train station. The Prince's palace is a short walk away, which was nice. The staff was not very friendly and not as competent as I would have hoped - a woman working at the front desk had no idea why my room phone wasn't working and couldn't tell me where the nearest pay phone was (100 yards away). It wasn't a particularly memorable experience. The website also says that it is near the starting line for the Formula 1 race - we never saw anything like that. If it is near the starting line it's not remarkable enough to mention and rather misleading, unless you are staying there at race time.

This hotel was a big dissapointment. The hotel looks nice outside but the room drapes and bed cover were old and dirty looking. The trash was left in the bathroom waste basket from previous occupants. We opted to walk down the front stairs one day and it look like hell with cracked marble etc.. To make things even worse there was extrememly loud construction going on right outside our window. The help was extrememly bad. We extremely overpaid for the room. We were at the tourist information booth downtown and people were getting rooms for about 2/3 rd's what we paid. I'd stay away from this dump. The only reason we stayed two nights is because Monaco was such a beautiful place.

I have stayed in many hotels throughtout Europe and this is the nicest one. Monaco is very expensive, but this hotel was cheap and great. It reminds me of a hotel in the states rather then the small ones Im use to in Europe.

Ciao...I was nervous at first considering there were no other online bookings in Monaco, I must say, I was even more nervous when I put the address in Mapblast.com and they gave me directions to a small town (I don't remeber the name) at the top of the mountain. I was wrong, this place was great...5 minute walk from the water, 1 minute cabride to the casino, and the room was great. For the money, the room and location was excellent. Driving around Monte Carlo was a bit difficult, but when I returned to my room, I was extremely happy...

The picture(s) on the website of the hotel do not at all correspond with the actual room. My room and that of a colleague of mine were very small, the door of the bathroom could hardly be opened because the double bed was in the way.

A very nice stay. Shower should be fixed higher on the wall in room 20 to accommodate adults. Staff were all very friendly and welcoming and the food at the restaurant was very tasty indeed.

Winter rate for a single room including breakfast 55 Euro is very good price. For this price I would not complain about anything. People at the reception are friendly. As I am Japanese, it was really helpful that there is a Japanese lady at the reception. One thing that annoyed me was the lever to stop the water of washbasin. It was difficult to stop the water. As I think packing in the lever must have been a little damaged, I hope they'll fix it soon. The hotel's location is good for a person to visit the Palace or the tropical garden, but it is not very convenient for a person who likes to play in Casino at night.
