The floors of the large hall are made in Modican stone (pietra pece) and with majolica inserts from Caltagirone in a style typical of the high Baroque, a beautiful example of local techniques. All the light fittings of the Hotel Grana Barocco are of Bohemian crystal.

From Catania (city/airport): take the state road “SS 114” to Ragusa (about 100 km). In Ragusa stay on the state road and proceed straight - you will see a sign “Modica 16,5 km”. In Modica look out for the black/white signs indicating the center (centro) and right in front of the municipality is the hotel.
From Siracusa: take the state road SS115 towards Noto-Ragusa
From Palermo: take the highway Palermo-Catania, in Catania follow the indication to Ragusa/Modica.
