Soggiorno di lavoro, una notte; posizione molto comoda per chi arriva in auto; vicino al centro, raggiungibile a piedi; atmosfera molto triste, stile Yugoslavia comunista, ci si sveglia al suono dell'alzabandiera della caserma a fianco (ore 6,30 AM).

This hotel was okay for something found at the last minute. The surroundings weren't that great as it is located in front of a military camp and quite far in the back down the road. Not very near to the center of the town in terms of walking distance. It can be okay if someone needs to come into town overnight, sleep and be on their way the following day. The bathroom shower was moldy around the edges, furniture in the room was old, no Wi-fi in certain rooms (but they do indicate that), my room was pretty large but very small bathroom. The staff was okay. Didn't do breakfast so no comment about that. There was a frigobar with limited goods inside. Summary: Just a large old hotel on a backroad and if you have no car you will definitely have to taxi it to the center or walk 20/30 minutes. I only recomend this hotel under the circumstances of having no other choice available.

How to reach Hotel Tiby

By car
From A1 Modena Nord Highway: drive along the ring road in direction Bologna and take exit 10 (follow signs to Centro, center). After 2.5 km/1.5 miles you will find yourself at the junction with via Emilia Ovest. Make a left turn from there and at the following traffic lights turn right. After other two sets of lights turn right and then again on the right-hand side into the second perpendicular street.

By bus
From the railway station: take buses 2, 7 or 4. All these lines stop 100 meters from the hotel.
