Our first and last time there. We recommend a nice restructuring and renovation. Especially the cardboard walls and the very run-down bathroom made us regret our choice. Breakfast and service were okay.

I stayed three nights. At the last night the boiler was broken and there was no hot water from shower and no heating system. It was a cold night. I complained and it took long time to convince the staff of the hotel that the hot water is not available. The hotel finally gave me a room in the next hotel.

This hotel was okay and not at all what we expected. The room was very tight and we expected a little more for what paid for. for one night we don't have a whole lot say about it but we were both glad it was only for one night. On the up side we did have to leave early in the morning before breakfast was served however they made sure that breakfast was out for us before we left. So that was great. Location was a 10 minute walk from the train station so it was very convenient.

Unless you really need to go to Modena, there really isn't much to see there. Go to the countryside.

Milano was full so stayed in the Europa Next Door. Hotel was busy as it was the week of the Military Tattoo. My room had no air conditioning and all rooms with air conditioning were taken. July in Modena is too hot and humid for me.

The rooms were a little small. But the staff were VERY nice and accomodating. We had mapquested to the hotel so that made it much easier for us. For the price we thought it was a good value. It was easy to walk to a good number of restaurants

We stay at this hotel many times but recently we feel that the employees(especially the receptionist) don't train as a hotel person. They were like trainee.

We had booked to stay in the Milano in Modena. When we arrived the hotel was closed and we were advised to visit the sister hotel next door - Hotel Europa. They didn't have our reservation but luckily had a room anyway. You pay extra for air-con but it is a necessity. The hotel employees could not have been any nicer and welcoming. Modena is worth a visit and I would recommend only staying one night. There are very few other tourists there and that was why I particularly liked this town. Go for the Balsamic Vinegar if nothing else!!!! This is the home of Balsamic vinegar. The locals had little English which made the visit more special for me as it meant we had gotten off the beaten track. The hotel was comfortable and the staff were very welcoming and try their very best to help you enjoy your stay.

Hotel milano was closed and reservation was moved to Hotel Europe next to it. Dryed cheese and ham were served for the breakfast. There is much potential in the hotel but tiny little things that are easily fixed just ruined everything...somehow I got feeling that no-one cares how things are going in the hotel.

One of the worst hotels we have ever stayed at. We were told to go to Hotel Europe, apparently the same owner because Milano and the restaurant between them were closed. I would imagine that the actual Hotel Milano would have the same LOW standard. Breakfast was disgusting - cheese and ham and dolce had apparently been sent in and out of the breakfast room for days, so all we had was coffee and a bun with Nutella. Rooms tiny, door could only lock with key inserted from the inside. They tried to charge us double for air condition, but didn't succeed. All we can is: Stay away from this socalled hotel !!!!!!
