Nice Hotel. No parking spaces. When we were there (sept 07) we had to park on the other side of the street on the sidewalk. Hopefully they will build a parking lot for cars. We didn't have too much trouble locating the hotel. And I would recommend to anyone who is traveling to Italy their first time by car to have a GPS. The behind the counter guy was nice and spoke good english.

The price of the room was alright but we did find the room to be extremely small. We could hardly walk around the bed which took up most of the room. The place was very noisy and one night while we were there we experienced a vicious fight between a man and a woman as their child cried and screamed for a very long time. The offer of breakfast for 6 euros was more that we would pay for premade and packaged food. We would probably not come back here again but it is ok for young people on a tight budget.

web confirmed price was increased and there was no way of discussion with the owner. breakfast is really poor. bed's lights didn't work and the hotel didn't really bother to fix them. most of all, welcoming, specially of the owner, is really bad as if they don't care to loose a customer.we won't return to this place.

As a kind of disclaimer, when booking this hotel, we knew we wouldn't be spending really any time in it, so went for something cheap. We were in the frame of mind that we didn't want to waste money on expensive hotels and instead enjoy more museums, nicer dinners, etc. However, we realize not everyone feels the same, so we are giving this review so that you know what you're in for, not because we're particularly picky, as we stayed in budget hotels all over Europe. As stated, my boyrriend and I booked this property because of the price. Originally, I had booked a hotel on the main island, but after we changed our type of transportation (we rented a car instead of taking the train) we decided to save some money by staying in Mirano. (62 euro a night instead of 150 for the same basics). We parked in front of the hotel on the road (a good thing--parking is available and for no charge) and the bushes and grass were full of garbage, which was kind of gross. We entered the hotel and the lobby is decorated nicely and modernly, which is surprising as the outside is a plain building...let's just say you wouldn't expect the lobby to look the way it does! There was no one there so we rang a bell and in a few moments a woman arrived; she was pleasant and told us how to catch the bus into the main island. We went to our room on the first floor and to be honest, despite the cheap price, I will still surprised at the shabbiness. Perhaps other rooms are different, but ours had dirty scuffs all over the walls, the blanket was ugly (really, it was like someone went shopping for particularly unattractive bedding and furniture!). Despite the small size of the room and the general unattractivenss, what bothered me was the smell (opening a window to air it out before our arrival would have been a simple but appreciated touch) and the bathroom. I'm not sure how to describe the smell...it's not just musty, but more like the carpet is harbouring secrets you really don't want to kn

Am besten ist die Bushaltestelle für die Fahrt nach Venedig für ca. 5 Euro (oder 2 Euro, wenn man sie vorher kauft), die sich direkt vor der Haustür befindet. Der Bus fährt alle 20 Minuten und braucht etwa eine Stunde.

Nice rooms, very clean, comfortable, good service. It is OK for people wanting to visit Venice, although it is a fair way out. The most difficult part was finding our way back to hotel after visiting Venice - more road signs for Mirano are required!

Nice small hotel only 10 km from Venice in a very quiet village called Mirano.Nice and cheap restaurants a few meters away and a nice park for walks on afternoon.I recomment this hotel for couples driving motorcycles as it has a very spacious covered private parking.

When we arrived all doors to the hotel were open, but nobody at the reception or anywhere to be found. We had to wait about 10 minutes before a woman walked in and gave us the room key. She didn't speak any English at all. All she could say was that there is a man in hotel who can speak English. We never saw him. Anyway, the room is clean and there is air conditioning. Also the public areas in the hotel are stylish and clean. Breakfast is not included, but is available though. There is parking place for about 10 cars in front of the hotel.

The staff did a good job directing us on how to get the Bus to Venezia. The room was very clean. Location in Mirano is fine. Comfortable. Shower did flood bathroom. Breakfast was not very good for 6 Euro. Good paticceria two minutes walk away, near bus stop.

A perfect place to stay if you want to visit Venice and also Padua , Verona , Vicenza.From the hotel is very easy to reach these towns by car or by bus.The place is perfect for a low budget holiday because it offers good quality services at a very good price.Staff is nice and offered us lots of good information for our daily trips.

The hotel was not as secluded as indicated, the parking facilities were few but adequate for our stay, however if the hotel had been full, it could have been a problem. The room was clean but rather small. The hotel was clean, tidy but basic. Mirano itself was very small, with not a lot to do. However, it was fairly handy for the airport. There is a lovely restaurant on the main road near to the Rugby stadium, on the same side, with stain glass windows, but fairly modern. Well worth a visit, and very reasonably priced. It was fine for one night, but as local amenities were limited, a longer stay is inadvisable.

Stay in this hotel was quite pleasant, and I can recommend it. Hotel is located near center of village (or perhalps small city). Its better to go there by car. While comming from the north I advise to take exit to Mirano, via Miranese, and simply follow the road to the center of Mirano. It does take about 15 min of driving to get there from the highway. When you get close to tower in Mirano, and you spotted dense group of trees, so watch carefully the signboards next to road. Hotel is just few meters from the main road in side street. The front desk staff does speak some basic english, just what is required for their job and not much more. They are nice people though. Surroundings of the hotel is very clean, even exceptionally clean as for Italy. Rooms are rather small, but will satisfy budget traveller. Breakfast is not included, and cost 5 euro/day/person. It is standard continental buffet. There are 4 parking places in front of the hotel, but you can park in the street few meters away for free. Or practically anywhere, as I was told by one member of the staff. You can take bus to Venice from the main road. It takes about 45 mins to get there, and ticket costs 4 euro to Venice and back. From Venice to Mirano the bus departs from station A2, but take only the bus that does have Mirano written on it. If you wanted some hot, but cheaper dinner, there is very good Pizzeria few meters from the main road in street leading to main square.

The hotel was great. The staff, both day and night, was friendly, helpful, and courteous. The location was very nice, on a quiet side street just a short stroll from the center of town. The staff directed us to a terrific osteria for dinner. Rooms are not terribly spacious, but clean, in good condition and well kept.

My family of 4 stayed in the ground floor apartment. Apartment was very spacious, very well furnished, and excellent value for money. All staff were very helpful, particularly with advice on travelling to Venice.

Un personnel sympathique, et attentionné. Des chambres confortables (climatisation, mobilier) et propres (entretien et linge). Des petits déjeuners copieux. Une situation appréciable : rue calme mais très proche du centre avec ses restaurants où l'on mange trés bien à des prix raisonnables. Enfin la possibilité de laisser son véhicule sur le parking de l'hotel et d'utiliser les services de bus (arrêt à 100 mètres de l'hotel) pour se rendre à Venise. Si je devias revenir dans la région j'opterai pour cet hotel.

Excellent Hotel à proximité de Venise. Accueil excellent et chaleureux. Un bus passe toutes les 20 min à proximité de l'Hôtel pour se rendre à Venise. Le dernier retour étant à 00h35 on peut s'y rendre sans se soucier de l'heure du retour. Hotel à recommander.

Everything was really Excellent. I really don't know why this is a two stars hotel??? The owner/manager is very helpfull and friendly, speaks several languages and will do everything you want to please and accomodate you. Coming from Venezia, he may give you all kind of suggestions. He knows the area perfectly. Rooms are extremely clean and quiet. For 5 Euros, the breakfast is also very good and there is no need to look anywhere else. From there to go to Venezia, it costs only a couple of Euros by train. This is the perfect set-up, even if you want to visit for a week.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Hotel was difficult to find initially, but good and very conveninent parking was available. Public transportation was also available very close by.
