Hotel Santa Lucia - Minori

Breakfast was pretty good, the dinner is excellent - you can choose between different menues (meat and fish) the staff is friendly, the rooms are clean

Minori was a wonderful place to stay and the Hotel Santa Lucia made our stay even more pleasant

Just one night driving to the south; position is strategic for Costiera. They forgot to give us back documents but were very kind in mailing them home. We'll use again this hotel

We stayed in two double rooms for two nights. One of the rooms had a view over the main street in Minori and some sea view, and the other room faced the big old church. Isabella has great, modern rooms and a great location. Five metres to the small but cosy beach and five metres to the main square. Very professional staff at Santa Lucia, except for a very rude cleaning lady at Isabella. Superb breakfast and service. If you arrive by car, the staff will park the car in their garage and then when you need the car they will get it for you. If you have no problem with the stairs, then this is the ideal place to stay on the Amalfi Coast. Minori is much more cosy and beautiful than the nearby villages Maiori, Amalfi and Ravello. There is a five minute walk to the large beach in Maiori. We can recommend Santa Lucia and Isabella highly.

We had two rooms with sea views confirmed in the dependence. When we checked in one one room with a sea view was available - which is totally unacceptable. The manager could not explain why this had happened as our booking had been made over a month earlier and I had a confirmed reservation(which I showed him) through venere. Again, this is unacceptable - if the hotel accepts a booking, they should keep their part of the contract. Nice location, basic rooms but quite OK. "Individually controlled air conditioning" turned out to be a small fan!. Fortunately, it wasn't too hot while we were there. (note for point below - we travelled as two couples, hence the booking for two double rooms)

The hotel and description from this website matched the real thing - what a relief! Our first visit to Minori was well worth it and can definately say it is a nice place to base yourself for visiting the Amalfi coast, if you don't want to be in the thick of everything. We visited Amalfi town, Capri, Ravello and Vietri.Beach was a 5 minute walk as were the local restaurants and shops. Bus tickets cost as low as €1,30. The hotel staff were very welcoming, and the food delicious (portions will leave your sides splitting).Would certainly return!!!!

The hotel was nice. Very much targeted to senior citizens. Driving along Amalfi Coast is very difficult. Road is very narrow and crowded. There are many backups and delays.

The Santa Lucia with Lucia at the desk (good luck with the baby- Lucia!)is a welcoming little old world type of hotel which has been renovated with taste. The room was large and clean. The position was central.The public room is the lobby and is rather small. Hotel prices in Europe and particularly in Italy are very high so that to give a rating of quality versus price is difficult. This was one of the better small hotels that we have stayed in and the test is whether we would be happy to return to it. The answer is "yes".

Very poor services, management not so honest. small rooms, lack of cleanliness. not recommended.
