Hotel Maison Raphael - Minori

We had a very pleasant stay at the Maison Raphael. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The balcony was of great contribution to enjoying the atmosphere of the cute Minori. The personnel was really friendly and helpful, just as south italians are told to be. They proactively helped us discover the hidden beauties of the Amalfi Coast.

This hotel caters for all age groups. Being a small town it does not have night life but all other facilities are available. We met two very nice late 20 to 30 year old girls who's company we enjoyed very much.

We stayed at Maison Raphael for 6 nights in July 2010 and had some excellent holidays. The host Antonio will do anything to give you a nice stay in Minori. We got some really useful advice for our expeditions to Naples, Pompei and around the Amalfi coast. We used the hotel's parking (15 euro a day) which is a secured shady place nearby the hotel. Antonio surely knows that Scandinavians enjoy large breakfasts, and we were every morning supplied with extra bread, ham and cheese to the meal. The hotel is centrally located in Minori, which adds a little noise from the street. We would surely recommend this welcoming family driven hotel to any travellers to the Amalfi Coast

This is one of the best hotels in Minori and would tell everyone to stay there. The staff is very helpful and friendly and will bend over backwards to help you. It truly is worth the money they charge for a room for what you get.

Tony and his son were excellent at making us feel welcome with our stay. The rooms are good for the price and the breakfast was excellent. Location was great as it was in the heart of Minori and there are good links to Ravello, Amalfi and Maiori. You do get some noise from the passing traffic during the day but it all quietens down at night and with the fantastic walks to Ravello up the 2000 steps, you won't have any trouble sleeping. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay there again when we next visit Minori.

Equipe très serviable et plutôt de bon conseil. Parking vaste mais un peu cher. On a adoré notre passage a Minori. On conseille aussi d'aller se faire masser au "herbarium" qui se trouve dans la rue. On nous a "bricolé" un lit d'enfant qui a fait office de parc en même temps. Mieux que mieux ! Les bambini sont rois ici. La petite terrasse de la chambre était sympa aussi. Y a pas vraiment de "public areas" dans l'hotel, de toute façon faut aller sur la place de la ville c'est tout a coté et tres agreable. Attention y a quelques marches pour accéder à l'hotel (pas pour personnes agées), mais nous, même avec une poussette cela passait.

This is a really great place - very central but quiet at night. The owner, Tony, is just splendid as is Gaetano who serves breakfast and assists Tony. We would recommend this to anyone in this price range. Be sure to eat at La Botte - Tony can direct people there.

My stay at the Maison Raphael was excellent. I've never had more friendly hosts and such excellent service. The owner was very gracious and generous with his time and help. He and his son were always friendly and ready to help us in any way. I recommend the Maison Raphael very highly.

Exceptionally friendly family owners, who are willing to help any way they can. Fantastic location within blocks of the beach, shopping, dining, in a town with few tourists and great character. Street noise is just part of the experience of this great location in a busy village town. Nice rooms with nice balconies. Breakfast is a little light for those who are looking for a meal. All in all, a great experience if you want to become submerged in the local lifestyle.

Minori is a wonderful town on the Amalfi coast! The hotel is clean and the owner was very kind in assisting our parents with their luggage from the bus stop to the hotel and up the steep steps to the property. The hotel is cute but in an extremely noisy location. The photos lead one to believe it is very close to the sea and that there are views of the sea from verandas....this is not the case. The top deck was not available for use as in the photos. The following issues put a damper on our review of this small hotel: 1. We were charged extra when my husband and father-in law brought coffee to our respective rooms (no staff member delivered it). 2. When we inquired about laundry service we were told by the owner the charge would be 1-1.5 euros per piece. In fact, we were charged 3-4 euros per piece (think about it...even in a 5-star hotel this is not the case). All in all, Minori is a wonderful town. If you go there, please dine at La Botte: wonderful home made fresh pastas and desserts and the service impeccable.
